My daughter really wanted one of these. She saved up her money to buy this. When we plugged it in, it worked for 5 minutes and then stopped working and emits a high pitched sound. I have tried plugging it in a few other times thinking that it would start working again but it only makes the awful sound. Don't buy this product.

This thing is pretty awesome!!! We loved it for all of our college parties. Sounds great lights are bright. And it was an all over good time.

Broke after a few weeks

It was crap and broke within 5 minutes of being opened.

Not what I expected

 What a cool little light! If you have a young one that likes to party, this would be the perfect light. The whole unit is self contained in that the speakers are actually built in. All you do is connect up to the unit and party! I received a sample for review purposes and the unit I tested allowed for bluetooth connection. As soon as I powered it up, it was voice prompting me for the bluetooth connection. I had no issues connecting with my Nexus 5x phone. As you play music, the lights flash and change color to the beats.You can also put music in using a USB flash drive or an SD card. A flash drive actually came with the unit with a few songs on it so you can get the party started right away. There is also a remote which controls the music and the mode.Overall, you can tell this is a "home unit" but the quality is what I would consider to be good enough for the price point. Fun little unit!!

I can even see carrying it to work holiday functions to surprise and entertain people because it takes things to that next more entertaining level. I like the idea that it makes it seem like you went all out on something because you brought in interactive party lighting, and I also like the fact that this is relatively easy to operate, so you can literally plug it in and go.The design to this is repetitively straight forward, with a clear dome on the top, a control panel facing forward, and a few items on the back including a DMXIN and a DMXOUT, a fuse, and a plug. With regard to the dome, it actually looks interesting while simply sitting around and makes for something that smaller children like to look into. This can be interesting or negative depending, so you might want to watch placement or even mount this, which this also includes a setup for. The design works really well with the lighting association, giving a good pattern that spreads really well. The front has a menu button, and up and down button, and an enter button.
