Lots of steam.
I dropped my old sunbeam on a concrete floor. This is a replacement. I'm very pleased with its performance so far. My Ironing is minimal at this time (July/August). The shot of steam is very powerful and temperature seems stable and evenly distributed across the plate. The sole plate is pointed nicely to maneuver around buttons.

Good luck ironing out the wrinkles!
I’ve never purchased an iron from this company before. This is my first purchase from Rowenta. I wish this can come from a place of elation but I’m sad to say it doesn’t. I’ve used this iron for over six months and I must say I am highly disappointed with it. I like that this iron has a contemporary design with helpful features such as the steam and water spray etc. which are the reasons why I took a chance and purchased this iron, however it does not perform to its name. The name it’s not what irons my clothes. Its the actual iron itself. I will gladly pay $20 for an iron from a lesser known brand that will do a much better job in ironing my clothes than to pay $60-$70 for an iron from a well known “reputable” brand that does not. I expected this iron to iron out the wrinkles (figuratively and literally) in my clothes however, in its highest maximum temperature setting, my clothes are still left wrinkled when ironing with this iron. By the time the wrinkles are half way out, I’ve already spent too much time ironing my clothes, which takes a lot of time away from me and my other responsibilities. I do not want to spend a lot of time ironing as it is and with this iron I find that it takes up too much of my time just to iron my clothes. In today’s world who has time for that??? I purchased this iron more than six months ago so it is much too late for me to return it back (my unfortunate loss) but I’m very disappointed in this iron and I really regret this purchase.

Iron Out The Problems
I usually iron clothes 4-5 days out of the week. i have a Hamilton Beach Steam Iron and this Rowenta Accessteam Iron holds up to the job. It presses my clothes really good, well actually better than my Hamilton Beach one. The extra steam holes comes in handy when ironing and the thumb rest is a nice feature to have. I like that i can also steam the clothes upright unlike my other iron. If i ever need another iron again, I would definitely purchase this one. I recommend this iron to anyone whose looking for a good sturdy iron.
