Clever Travel Companion Women's Underwear with 2 Secret Zipper Pocket, Pickpocket & Loss Proof Brief Shorts Boyshort Panties

I bought these for "asset protection" while I was traveling to the most pickpocketed cities in Europe. I read other reviews that they "ran small" so I bought the largest size I thought would be appropriate based on the manufacturer's website; however, the sizes on the manufacturer's website are absolutely wrong. It turned out better that I received a pair that were overly large for me because if you try to wear these alone, they're horribly uncomfortable where the inseams meet. The solution: I wore my own panties under these and the shorts worked PERFECTLY! I could carry all my cash (and even passport) in the pockets and no one could access them except for me. I washed them every night and they were dry by morning. They were thin and comfortable enough (even with the two layers-- my regular panties with these) under knit pants and under jeans, although I would recommend not keeping your passport in these front pockets if you plan on sitting. That stated, because the front and back are cut the same, it's possible to wear these undies with the pockets in back if you want to sit while keeping your passport concealed. I didn't like the feeling of having my passport behind me so I just used this item to keep my cash safe, pockets forward. With a bit of discretion (like standing between a friend and a wall) it was easy enough to reach inside the waistband of my knit pants to retrieve bills from the zippered pockets, but most of the time, it was best just to access the pockets whilst in the restroom. Overall, I would recommend this item as a layer over your regular undies but I would not recommend these as solo-wear travel undies. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my travels much more with the knowledge that my cash was secured in these undergarments.

I am 5'4", 130 pounds, and ordered the gray  Clever Travel Companion Women's Underwear with Secret Pocket, Gray  a size up (large). I wear them over my regular underwear and under skirts, leggings, and shorts. They are thick enough to feel secure, yet light enough to not have "visible panty lines" underneath clothing. I purchased these a year ago for a trip to Italy, and when a delayed flight caused me to miss a connection I was forced to spend the night in Toronto Pearson Airport. I was able to sleep, knowing that my passport, credit card, and cash were safely hidden. Peace of mind is priceless! I have since used them on other trips where I didn't want to worry about pickpockets. At home I machine wash and line dry; when traveling I wash by hand, wring out in a towel, and hang them to dry overnight. The pockets are *just* large enough to put a passport in sideways; it kind of bends the passport when you sit, but in my opinion that is a small price to pay for security. I did have one awkward moment when I hiked up my skirt and reached inside the pockets in order to retrieve ID to show at a hotel, but I figured because they were boy shorts they looked like, well, shorts. Now I just reach down from my waistband and fish stuff out from the top. I absolutely love these and recommend them to all my friends.

I generally wear a small/medium but these ran very small in the waist band. The seller was very helpful and exchanged them for a large. The large was still a tiny bit tight in the elastic on the waistband but I kept them. They are comfortable and serve their purpose. I can fit money and other small items in the pockets while traveling. A passport is a tight fit though. I would recommend ordering at least one size up in these shorts.

I'm normally a size small. I wish I had ordered a size up. I didn't give myself enough time before I travelled, so I didn't have enough time to return them, and I ended up hurting my legs because my cards were digging into me.

The pockets are fine for my tiny Asian hands. The cut is somewhat high in the back, making me feel like it was rising. However, it looks fine in the mirror. Just needs some times to get used to this style.

I put 3 stars because the shorts are well made and have a good concept, but they are too small and too short for an adult. I have an athletic body and wear a woman's size medium or size 6-8 in most things, so I ordered the size medium. They fit better on my 13 year old daughter, so she wore them on our travels and she complained about the shorts hiking up on her. I ended up wearing the "Clever Travel Companion" Tank Top with zipper pocket which holds my VISA, Passport and money. If you wear a "V" neck dress or loose shirt over the tank it works perfectly. I would just turn away from people and reach for my money in the tank top's zipper pocket. No one seemed to notice.

I ordered a small and its too small. I normally wear a small or medium. So I'm returning and ordering in a medium..hopefully it fits. I really like the material and the way the material feels. The zip pockets is deep same length as the shorts ends at. So it gives you more room and a deeper pockets.

Comfortable and did the job of providing a safe place for my cash while traveling. Mostly wore these on the plane ride where i wouldn't need to access the money in the zipper pockets.

Excellent. Used them in a well known 'pick pocket' area in Italy, although saw none. As a size 12, they fitted, albeit tight. A strong thick construction, with excellent pocket storage at the front. A bit tight for a 50 Euro note, perfect for the 20 Euro and of course, the passports, and I could access them. I had a money belt as well, so I could stash the 'don't need now' cash in the pants, and used the other pocket once off the train for the passports (2) with credit cards once off the plane. Would have been nice to have had the gusset lined to cover the stitching, but wasn't a problem. A bit costly, however, weighing up the risk of what you potentially could loose, they make them a good investment.

After researching at length every single possible variation on money bags, belts, neck purses, things that strap to your leg etc I finally came across these. They are brilliant! I'm going to Rome and have read all the warnings about pickpockets so need a way to make sure my passport and money are safe and invisible to anyone except me BUT I still want to be able to wear a dress and summer skirts and be comfy. It seems pointless to have a money belt which would still be visible unless I wear jeans, would most likely chaff and be horribly uncomfortable. These boxer shorts arrived within 3 days of ordering and I have tried them stuffed with my passport, cards and money under the dress I am taking with me (it's long and floaty but quite fitted around the hips to give you an idea) all my valuables were invisible! Ok yes, you'll need to pop to a loo to get cash/cards out if you run short of money but this is the solution I despaired of finding. Don't hesitate to buys these! They are also very comfy. One thing I will say is I am a size 10-12 and bought the large as there was no medium available! I'm glad I did, I think the sizing is on the small side. Not cheap no, but for security and peace of mind worth every penny!

I only received this garment this morning and was so pleased with it that I had to write and say straight away. I am a 73 year old woman travelling on my own and was worried about carrying my passport and money, these pants are ideal what a clever invention. The material and fit are good and the service was amazing. Well done and good luck with your products in the future.

I'm sorry to report, though the idea is great, it's flimsy design indeed. The right pocket got a massive hole in it day 3 on the road. I could have lost my passport! I noticed when I went to repair the hole that there was a small hole developing in the crotch, so in the end I didn't bother to repair them, just threw them away.. & I HATE throwing things away, but they simply aren't fit for purpose!

Great idea but and this is a big but for me ,they are not cotton and they have no gusset ,uncomfortable and I had to wear another pair underneath which defeats the object really .They do come up very small so check sizing carefully and they are most helpful sellers .
