DOMETIC CFX-65 60 L Portable Compressor Fridge Freezer, 12/24 V - Grey/Black

Purchased this particular unit thinking it says refrigerator and freezer, when first plugged in it did not work after almost 10 minutes of trying it finally kicked in, when call Domestic to let them know what happened to the cooler and asked will this happen again, The technician told me yes it will happen again but we still decided to keep it anyway, but that’s not a problem.The description says refrigeration/freezer so we were thinking that one side is the freezer and the other side is the refrigerator and we were wrong, we were missed lead by that phrase , instead it should say refrigeration or freezer because that’s what it is , called the technician he did not even explain to us that the one we bought can Not do both at the same time , so we decided to send it back to Amazon , my husband brought back the unit and asked me am I willing to pay $980 and some change to ship this thing back to Amazon, I was shocked because they never indicated anywhere to let people know this item will cost you that much money to ship back, after lengthy conversation with Amazon agent they have decided to cover the shipping going back because we have never returned anything before , at this moment we have not got the full refund yet that we were promised , will give them another week , The agent told us why the shipping was so high because this item it’s not going back to Amazon store is going back to their global store which is Canada .So we purchased another one the 75DZW, in case if you are looking for refrigeration and freezer at the same time you need to buy the one it says dual zone DZ otherwise all the machines will run either refrigeration or freezer never bother same time , and by the way Amazon will only cover the refund on shipping up to $150 only and the rest is going to come out of your pocket, I found this out when I called back for my refund and the other agent told me they are supposed to only cover up to $150 of the shipping ,so my case is in dispute right now because when an agent promised certain amount of the refund the company has to honor it so I have to give them another week and see if they’ll follow through. What a Mess .But I do have to say, the new one I got the 75DZW is excellent Great product and it’s working like it supposed to freeze on one side and refrigeration on the other side, we just love this unit , I just wish Amazon would let people know that it is going to cost a lot of money to ship this back ahead of time before anyone purchase this item , because not everyone is willing to pay $980 for shipping going back because of lack of returning information online .

We bought this after much deliberation as an overflow fridge or freezer for our motorhome, or for when the fitted absorption fridge could not cool sufficiently due to high ambient temperatures abroad (compressor fridges will cool regardless). There are huge price differences available online, but this was by far the cheapest we found for this size. We found some suppliers were selling larger ones for less than they quoted for the smaller models, and we were tempted but decided that this was the ideal size for our purpose and was cheaper again from this seller (we paid £494 but the price seems to fluctuate). The fridge arrived on a Sunday within 48 hours of being ordered, so no complaints there. It is the later Dometic badged Waeco item as shown and described.It is simplicity itself to set up, literally just un-wrap, plug in, and it works! Within twenty minutes of switching on it had reduced the inside temperature from 20o C to 4o C and maintained that consistently since within 1o. There really is very little to set up, choose your required temperature and you are away. Or you can set an alarm to sound if the temperature varies between specified amounts. Or even set it so that it switches off at one of three voltages before draining your battery. There is even an option to connect it by wi-fi to an app on your mobile so that you can monitor/adjust settings remotely. Everything is easy to set up and there is a well written manual to explain things if required.The 35-litre size will give storage for two people for a few days quite easily. And being so electrically efficient, it can easily run from solar panels during the day, and a decent leisure battery will last easily overnight making them ideally suited for going off grid.This is a pricey piece of equipment, but top quality and built to last. With price in mind, we found it definitely pays to shop around as there does seem to be huge differences – at the time of writing this the typical price for the 35 was £599 and we paid £494.Highly recommended.

Silencieux et faible consommation en 12v pour maintenir une température de 4°C même dans des conditions difficiles ( 37°C à l'ombre ).ATTENTION le câble secteur (220v) est livré avec une prise Anglaise... mais il s'agit d'un câble standard type ordinateur de bureau ou écran ... donc pas de problème pour en trouver un rapidement avec une prise Française (j'en avais un en stock à la maison qui venait d'un vieux PC que j'avais mis à la déchetterie).Après 2 semaines de rando 4x4 ... produit efficace et résistant !

Me compre la nevera en enero del 2019 y se me ha estropeado. No hay manera de contactar con el vendedor.
