Best on the market
The replacement filters are expensive and often out of stock, but this is without doubt the best water filter jug I’ve ever had. I now have three, as I’ve had to purchase a new jug when filters are either not available or almost as expensive as a new jug complete with filter.

Long lasting
Filters will probably last longer than 3 months

Great product but not perfect
Easy to use, love the recycled packaging and instructions, the water filters in good time, however the lid doesn’t fit securely. When emptying the last mls of water, the lid wants to fall off. Spare filters are reasonably priced.

Feels like im drinking true water
I so like the item definitely but the manner of packaging and delivery-so disappointing. Items box is the only cover, not even protected with bubblepack or any protection.. The item is fragile and deserves better handling but it was not provided. Sad thing to know

Lid doesn’t fit on
Bought this, and when it came, I assembled it and straight after it fell to pieces. The top fell off and the filter part fell out too as soon as you tip it to pour the water out. So I return it to Amazon and bought another one which came the following day and that one was the exact same.

Filters are too expensive and not always in stock.
I have had my epic water filter for about 2 years. I can tell you now that the replacement filters are hard to get hold of and stick unreliable. Once they’ve sold out, you have to wait forever for them to come back in stock. Yes, they do last about 3 months but I found I was always thinking ahead and making sure I’d got one spare all the time just incase I couldn’t get hold of one. So here I am and needing a replacement and I’m not prepared to spend £89/99 on a replacement filter which is daylight robbery. They are normally £46 which is still pricy. I’ve tried epics own site and they are out of stock as of (july 2022) and have been for weeks. I do find the epic filtered water pleasant to drink; however, it’s no good for hard water areas because my kettle still furs up with limescale in no time at all. So, now my filter needs changing and I have no other option but to buy another make of filter and jug. Sorry Epic, you’re expensive and completely unreliable and I won’t be recommending you! At this point in time, I’ll probably resort to the relatively cheap and reliable Brita.

Mold :(
After a couple of months of use there’s mold growing at the bottom.

Great but….don’t
£70 for a one-use filter jug. Zero availability of replacement filters, despite the very high price. Now just another plastic jug. Other alternatives now available. Shame, avoid. Helps if you match marketing with manufacturing.
