perfect for my basement!
I ordered 2 sets of these to cover my basement floor when we needed to get rid of the very old carpet while on a very tight budget. We cleaned the subfloor many times so the carpet would stick as much as possible. There are 5 spots of adhesive on the bottom of each tile, and I am sure it's not completely secure, it seems sufficient so far and I had no problem vacuuming them. If I need more adhesive, I am sure some gorilla tape will do the trick.I found the best way to cut them (for edges where I needed a smaller piece) is to score the backing with a utility knife then cut through the carpet with scissors. all of my cuts are not professional but certainly good enough for me!There is some variations in thickness, but I am not surprised- after all, these are remnant pieces, and the variation is not significant to be a negative. As far as the colors go, the ones I received are primarily blues and neutrals, which works for me. I did get 2 tiles that I think are hideous so those 2 got relegated to a back corner of the closet where they won't be seen. Overall, I find the 2 sets gave me a good selection. My 5-year old had fun arranging the tiles with me. :)The customer service I experienced with seller was exceptional. I emailed them with a question before ordering and received a response within a few hours- and follow up emails were answered even more quickly. UPDATE: This carpet rocks!
I love this carpet! What a great idea. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this stuff. We put this in our home theater after removing the old boring carpet and it looks so much better! Very easy to install and very easy to cut. On a clean concrete floor these stick extremely well. The 2nd row of seats is a plywood floor so I put used some glue that I found at home depot for carpet tile to help it out some.We will probably do some rooms with this stuff! I highly recommend this product! I will never install traditional carpet again for the rest of life!UPDATE: We love this carpet so much we installed it in 2 more rooms, an office and our game room. Since my first room was done several months ago the carpet continues to hold up very nicely! We get a lot of compliments on it. Since we ordered a new batch there were 2 tiles in the first room we were not that happy with so we swapped them with 2 from the new batch. It was very easy to pop them up and replace. The double sided sticky tape they come with works very strong on a concrete floor. Ive been adding a few dabs of glue that I found at home depot also, but it might be overkill. Anyways, this carpet can really modernize any room! We love it!

Great inexpensive solution for floors that need a new covering now.
Needed something quick and cheap when I purchased a new place with a completely unacceptable carpet in a small room- even carpet remnant stores wanted $100+ more than this for cheaper quality carpet, and at this amount, no delivery or removal of old, or any other customer service. So, I took out all of the old material- tack boards too- and laid these down with my fingers crossed. They look better than I anticipated, and will work for at least 5 years- and they might last 10. Just take your time laying out the design so you don't get weird cuts in visible areas ("nothing is square or plumb, you heard it from your mum") or clashing patterns together. These are great for a short term or inexpensive solution to flooring issues. And they vacuum well too, and are low profile, so they dont seem to hold much dust or allergens. Oh- and they are SO MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE than a roll of carpet, especially if you need to do this with one person. And they are delivered to your doorstep! So happy with these.

Most happy with this purchase and the quality of the pieces. This was one of my projects for the summer and finally finished it a couple of weeks ago. Started in July and finished in early October..I am in my 70's and the most difficult part for me was tearing up the OLD carpet and moving the furniture around in my little log cabin. I actually did one-half of the area and rested for a few weeks!The carpet itself is high quality and pieces are 20 inches X 20 inches. I did order additional carpet tape but never used any of it. The floor in the cabin is heavy plywood so this carpet adhered well to it. I did ensure that the floor was clean prior to putting the new pieces down.One other thing that I did was to take the pieces and place them on the floor to see what they looked like in the overall pattern. A great variety in the colors ranging from dark reds to purples to bright yellow and greys. Brightens the log cabin up considerably which I also like.So, some of the pieces have been installed for over 3 months and there is absolutely no wear today. Have a couple of Boxer dogs so they are also part of the equation. I did order 10 more pieces so I would have a few extra for the future, if needed. Glad that I have a few extra pieces on hand.Excellent carpet, high quality and easy to put down. Delivery to my door so it doesn't get any better than that for me at my age.Most highly recommended and definitely would order again from this company...Pictures to follow....
