Chose the AllerEase Ultimate Allergy Protection Ultimate Cotton to help cut down on allergens from our mattress. Amazon states that this product is returned frequently, so a few details: Item is difficult to dry after washing as stated in reviews. Due to waterproofing the mattress cover comes out of the wash dripping like a plastic bag, plan on hanging the mattress cover for a few days to allow for air drying, then toss in dryer for a short period to fluff. Note that we noticed that the cover seemed to stick together in a few places when we tried to dry it in the dryer for over 15 minutes, air drying with a short fluff in the dryer worked beautifully. Fits the mattress nicely, slides over like an envelope with a zipper closure on one end. A definite two-person task to put the cover on. The cover does have a waterproof feature so it does have the "crinkle" sound, however the ultimate cotton feature on this cover refers to the top which is softer and quieter for sleeping. Also purchased the pillow covers to cut down on allergens. So far we're noticing a marked difference in the mornings, waking up with no stuffiness or sneezing. Edit: 1-2 weeks later. HOT HOT. This isn’t cooling at all! Very very hotIt works great for what I need! I found out I’m allergic to our new bed topper that was $189 🫠 I was waking up with my eyes really puffy and swollen for about 5 days before I realized. We put this on the bed last night and I woke up perfectly fine this morning. This protector says cooling but I didn’t find it cooling. My back was actually kind of sweaty this morning but it’s fine. It does have the crunchy noise but not terrible and we didn’t notice once the fan was on. Overall good

Perfect fit for our new king size mattress! And we managed to slip it on relatively easily. This is our third purchase of this mattress enclosure. We highly recommend this brand!

This keeps the mattress, clean and free of hair and debris. Soft and comfortable

Tried this out for 4 nights and woke up all night pooling in sweat. I'm not sick nor am I going through menopause to justify the night sweats. I removed the cover on the 5th night and slept cool all night. Not sure how the packaging can claim this to be temperature balancing. Be forewarned. Great idea, poor execution.

Doing 4 stars because the Positives are it is waterproof, doesn't make crinckly noises, and fits a deep king size mattress easily. Also, because this just didn't work for me personally their customer service was amazing so I recommend the seller. But If you are a hot sleeper or have menopause night sweats this is NOT what you want on your bed. It's like it channels all the heat to you. When I change positions whatever side was on the mattress is hot, sweaty, and clamy. Makes my night of sleep hot and miserable

It works. a little headache to put it on a large mattress but it really does provide breathable protection.
