This item was a gift and the recipient said that people that game with him can hear him very clearly and much better than before.

Was very excited to received this great looking headset. However upon installing it I discovered that the mic doesn't function, have tried everything and watched tutorials in addition to utilizing several different USB ports. Audio output is good, but a mic is kind of important for gaming headphones. Very disappointed.

I'm super picky about headsets. Most hurt my ears or give me headaches in just a short amount of time. This was is extremely light, and was comfortable on my ears. My husband made the comment that theyre really light. Like almost too light for what they are? The sound definitely sounded like 7.1, and I liked that you could turn the bass on or off. The cord is extremely long, I was impressed. It's thick and seems durable. Installation was easy, cd included. I tried the mic out minimally, but I had no complaints. I was told I came across clear without any static or weird noises. Mic is permanently attached but can be easily flipped up. I'm quite happy with this. My only question is how long these will last.
