Is this type of quick, side-to-side sliding movement safe for ruptured discs?

I'm not a Doctor-On that note I have a metal cage and rod in my lower back and I can say I LOVE this machine! I've NEVER had one day of my back hurting. Aeroski has aided in building my muscles which in my opinion is key to living with a weak back. I 100% recommend this machine for a bad back.

I used to roller blade, 20 miles a day, is this similar? Does it support weight loss (with healthy diet of course?)

I'm not sure about that. But you can order extra hinges to give it extra resistant so this way you can get a real good work out.
