Worth every penny!
Love this bag so much I've bought it 3 times so far. I can pack my 17"laptop and 3 days worth in clothes in the bag and sti have room for more. There is also this really awesome hidden pocket that if you don't know it's there you'd never find it. Keeps my work clothes dry, has a perfect compartment to keep my Chef knives plus more sooo many pockets for anything and everything! Hazard 4 is an amazing company with absolutely amazing gear. Definitely buying more to add to the bag.

Good bag with a myriad of uses
I bought the solid black version of this bag around two months ago, and I haven't been disappointed. I use it as a computer bag to transport my 14" laptop and related supplies and documents to and from work. Make no mistake: It's a guy's computer bag.On the outside flap of the bag there are two zippers which run almost its full width; one near the middle for loose items and the other under a small hood near the top that, when unzipped, allows access to the entire contents of the bag. The latter zipper is incredibly useful, as one can access the many areas of the bag without flipping the entire front flap up and over the bag. Think subway cars and airplane coach seats. For whatever reason, the inside of the flap has another pocket - this one sporting a clear cover and a Velcro patch used to secure its contents. On the surface of the main compartment, fully accessible by raising the outside flap, one finds a horizontal zipper near the top over a giant field of modular webbing. This MOLLE field is only one of many spots over the bag and its strap with this webbing material. I bought a used army canteen bag from an Army/Navy store for additional storage and laced it in there with some tac ties. I also found a few old cell phone holsters I had laying around with belt loop connectors that I connected on to add additional storage. I even had room to connect a travel cigar case using its belt clips, along with a mini measuring tape, a flashlight, and a multifunction tool. The previously-mentioned zipper grants access to a nicely-sized pen/business card/general purpose organizer area. It really is a well-designed organizer, but I don't have much more to say about it than "I put stuff there."Inside the main compartment of the messenger are two inner side pockets and two larger inner pockets opposite the computer sleeve. The computer sleeve is remarkably well-padded with a Velcro retaining strap. I could do without the Velcro (also used in a few other areas), but it is not entirely annoying as many implementations are. I also carry around my ASUS eee pad and its keyboard, the latter of which I tuck into a utility pocket. The rest of the main compartment is large enough for large books, binders, or other fairly large items. On the outer shell of the bag, just under the where the straps connect, are additional small pockets and MOLLE. Presumably, these are designed for gun clips, however, I determined that each will hold two 50-ring Hoyo Excalibur cigars. There is nothing interesting on the back of the bag other than a piggyback strap for attaching to sissy bars, rolling bag handles, etc. Finally, the strap: The supplied strap has a very comfortable shoulder pad and it will adjust to standard bag or cross-body style. One other review mentioned that the quick release gave way, however I have not had a similar experience. My guess is that the buckle was not secure to begin with.Construction: excellent. Weight: tolerable. Looks: I have had several people compliment me on it.Seller: on-time and for the agreed price. Can't complain.March 18, 2014: Here it is almost two years later, and I still use this as an every day computer bag. It has flown across country with me over and over again, and there are no tears, loose thread, or other damage. It still looks like it did whdn I bought it. It has been strapped to the back of a motorcycle, shoved under airline seats, hauled through snow and rain, and the buckles still work, the molle has held up, and the pockets are still holding up.

Cheap and poor stitching
I have only used it few times and just now coming back from store the stitching on the strap pulled out while I was biking home. Almost caused me to fall of my bike. a I am 66 years old and have been biking for years and have had 3 bike courier bags so I can compare quality. The stitching is inadequate and no where near strong enough for a large courier bag like this. I almost fell off my bike 30 minutes ago when the it ripped out on the courier strap and the load was modest. Losing control of a bike in a busy city due to a strap ripping lose is damned DANGEROUS!ALL BECAUSE OF CHEAP THIN STITCHING! DO NOT BUY! Lucky I was going slow. CHEAP?CHEAP/CHEAP

My Tactical Briefcase EDC/BOB - Year 2 Review
I've been using this messenger bag the past 4 days and I am really, really liking so far. HUGE STORAGE!!! (for me)Build quality is top notch. Invista 1000D Cordura. (we'll see a year from now) Stitching is robust. Excellent Bar Tacking on the main strap flap buckles.Buckle issue (from other comments) wise, I have not encountered it due to accessing my contents through the top access zipper. (Again a year from now)Storage ? Wow!!! Both 15" notebook and 8" tablet fits comfortably and very well padded-quilted. Outside of the notebook pocket Velcro area for you Velcro holster attachment or any Velcro gear.Main compartment holds my thick planner/note book AND will hold a 24" drawing tube with very little exposed at the end. At the bottom of the main compartment are 2 loops for my divider that I just order (AMAZON natch!!!) There are 2 bottle pockets on both ends and pockets just towards the front. There 2 roomy zippered pockets (front flap and inside). Front flap zip pocket for easy access to flat items such as folded documents, tickets, passport etc. Inside zip pockets has even more pockets for pens, flashlight, pocket knife, USB chargers, USB drives and any sensible small items or gears for your EDC.Main Strap and Pad... 2" wide strap and padding very comfortable and the stabilizing strap will keep it place for LONG walking distances. The Padding is easily adjustable, has 3 1" Velcro strap and 1 2" Velcro strap. Buckle issue non so far.Molle attachment. Go friggin crazy!!! Just underneath the flap is the main PALS webbing area and at both ends on the outside of the bag. My attachments are on their way.The clear map pocket is intend for just that or any 8.5" x 11" documents. a small Velcro strip is the only thing that secures this pocket.I will do a long term review... Hazard 4 Defense Courier Laptop Messenger Bag with Molle, Black Just month past year 2. This Beast of a Messenger Bag is still going strong. Carrying a heavy laptop and other "metal gear" EDC essentials. All the seams, straps, Molle attachment points and the excellent bar tacking on held up quite well.As for the issue on the Buckles, it could be a case of YMMV, or just plain luck. In any case i have not had any issue of unwanted release, cracked buckle or the lock mechanism malfunction. Mind you I use this as my briefcase and not as outdoor gear. So snags from tree branches hardly occurs. I can't think of any urban hazards that could potentially break the buckle.Getting this Courier for under $100 then was a steal.I just recently bought it's smaller sibling the Kato for an over seas trip. Well do a review on that too. Hazard 4 Defense Courier Laptop Messenger Bag with Molle, Black
