Works like a charm
I had a chest freezer stop working on me (so much wasted food!), and doing some YouTube searches, it seemed like this would fix my problem with the condenser not turning on. Took me about 15 minutes to hook it up and the freezer is working great. Has been about a month so I don’t know the longevity of this, but for the price it was a simple, easy, cost-effective fix for my freezer.

It did what it was supposed to do.
Instructions were clear, and I was able to replace the relays original to the refrigerator which is 21 years old. The refrigerator had stopped cooling and was just clicking on and off every two or three minutes. I watched some youtube videos on several different refrigerators with the same problem and chose this part over the Supco RCO810 3 n' 1 START Hard Start Kit. My frig is a frigidaire 26cuft side by side. I was hoping the compressor was not bad. After installing the Supco URC0410-0 hard start kit I plugged in the power cord and turned the refrigerator back on (via the dial inside the frig) and the compressor fired up right away. I let it run for a couple of days just to make sure it was cycling through defrost and normal cycles. I've got ice in the ice maker now, and the temp reading for the refrigerator side can be seen in a couple of photos I posted, one when the frig was not working and the other is a few hours after the repair. Its been a week now and it is still functioning. Hopefully, the frig will last another 21 years for me.EDIT" It is now almost two years later after installing this part. Happy to say it is working great. No problems up to now with the part. 12 bucks well spent.

Easy Easy Install.. Quick fix to a frustrating problem
Just a note... the URCO410 can be used for a fridge that uses a capacitor or not for the same price as the RC0410 (fridge with no capacitor). The URCO410 comes pre wired for a capacitor whether you use it or not. If you don't use it there is no modification that you need to do. The cooling fan would come on as soon as the fridge was plugged in. At the same time the compressor on my Kenmore Cold Spot refrigerator would hum attempting to start and then a distinct audible "click" and shut down (cooling fan still running). The “click” was the overload protection mechanism of the start relay shutting down the start up of the compressor. It was no longer cooling or freezing. My fridge had a start relay (tan component pictured plugged into the side of the black compressor) and capacitor black rectangular component plugged into the start relay) combination attached to the compressor. The compressor and capacitor both tested good and there is no real way to completely test the start relay (many good videos on YouTube on how to test). I assumed that the start relay was the culprit. I ordered an OEM start relay from Sears parts direct ($86). That didn't work as the overload still tripped. I ordered a start relay and capacitor combo from Amazon ($26). That didn't work either as the overload still tripped. I ordered the SUPCO URCO410 (with or without capacitor). It took less than ten minutes to wire it all up and plug in the capacitor. The compressor started up as soon as I plugged it in.

Repair
While company warranty opted not to repair just refund orig $ price ( cost more today) found many reviews that said this piece might repair a broken freezer. After opening unit this part matched part on a broken freezer & was easy to install. No light on exterior to show unit on but when opening lid unit does freeze again so it serves as a great extra freezer.

Love and thank all the Youtube folks for their repair vids
Bought this as a backup after watching all the wonderful Youtube videos on how to repair an Up Right Freezer. Taped it to side of the freezer. Will never have to look for it, if and when needed. Peace of mind.

Right product for a great price.
Shipped as advertised. Authentic product. Not what I ended up needing but for this price I will keep as spare. Good thing to have around in case you are trying to diagnose a failing fridge.

Great, price could be lower
Everything was good overall, freezer worked well again, only wish that the price was a bit lower.

An inexpensive and simple fix
I wish I had known about these earlier. What a great alternative to trying to track down the original manufacturer parts for an older fridge.
