Vedder Holsters LightTuck IWB Kydex Gun Holster Compatible with Springfield Armory XDs 3.3" 9mm / .40 / .45

This holster is perfect. I'm giving it 4 stars to weed out "false fives" and I wish the belt clip had an inside retainer that grabbed the bottom of my leather belt a little better. I purchased for my XDS9 EDC. Easy to draw and reholster and "clicks" (locks) the XDS9 without being too tight. I also purchased, and returned, a Fierce Defender for my XD Mod2 9mm as I don't carrying that as often. I figured Kydex was Kydex with the exception of the adjustability some holsters have. I was wrong ! The Vedder's have smooth, buffed edges;the Fierce Defender did not. The Vedder is more of a finished product with true angles matching the pistol. The Fierce Defender seemed like they didn't heat it enough or let it cool enough. If I didn't reholster the Mod 2 at the perfect angle then I struggled to reholster. Square Peg/Oval Hole. The Vedder is a TRUE fit and even if you are off a little bit while reholstering, the pistol finds it's home. XDS9 holster purchased thru Amazon took over a week. Mod2 holster purchased direct from Vedder for same price incl shipping and took 3 days. Use only A DOT of blue loc-tite on screws. NOT green, purple or red.

Its pretty nice. without a doubt, it is definitely the best kydex holster i've ever owned.the clip is literally a millimeter or two, short for all of my belts, but it clamps on pretty well enough to not make it move around.which is one of my only three minor complaints:1. The clip could be a smidge longer. like literally a couple hairs.2. The clip is VERY sturdy and strong, which is a pro and a con. its just a pain in the ass putting it on and taking it off because of how strong the clip is. im sure after bending it and wearing it a while itll loosen up, but just for the record...3. No that everyone would be wearing the holster without a weapon in it; but if you dont have your weapon in it, it is a little uncomfortable when sitting.three very minor complaints. other than that, its pretty fantastic.compared to the several holsters ive tried using the past years, i give the vedder holster a solid 9/10.It's worth the money. its comfortable, not too bulky, very concealable, very adjustable for height and angle, its purely great.

After doing plenty of research I decided to go with the Vedder Light Tuck holster. I was too quick to hit the buy button and ordered the wrong one! Contacted them right away after being so disappointed when it arrived and I realized my mistake. Their customer service department said NO PROBLEM!! Returned it and they promptly replaced it. PERFECT fit and great construction! Belt clip is metal and NOT cheap plastic. Plenty of adjustment options for the perfect fit! My Son has a competing brand and once we compared with this one he will replace with Vedder!

Recently bought for appendix carry for xds 9mm and it conceals great. Don't even know I'm wearing it most of the time it's that comfortable. It doesn't dig into you. I'm 5'6 and 140 pounds athletic built and it hides with no problem. Great that it adjusts to your personal liking. I like the metal belt clip its sturdy, reliable, and just easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this product to anyone who is seeking a high quality holster for ccw. This thing is built to last. Absolutely perfect.

I have never been a big fan of the IWB holster but this one has changed my way of thinking. The day after it came I wore it all day with only one problems and that was where to wear it because they all felt good. The five stars are for the quality of this holster in the workmanship, material and design

It is a moderately irritating process to change the location of the holding screws and thereby the depth of the holster on your waist. The kydex also does not cover the magazine eject buttons, which I find odd. Other than that, works great.

Received my Vedder holster promptly. It is excellent quality and my Springfield XD S fits perfectly. I like the extended guide for easy draw, and I like the “snap” you feel when firearm is seated in the holster

The Vedder is a high quality holster. It has great retention and is very comfortable for all day wear. It's tough to choose between this and a traditional IWB in the style of a Cross Breed. Both do a great job. The Vedder is quicker to get on and off though, so I wear it more than my other holster. Give it a try!
