Inexpensive adapter, it worked on my 2008 Mercedes E350 ...

Inexpensive adapter, it worked on my 2008 Mercedes E350 for my IPhone 4s, now charging when connected to the old OEM cable. Unfortunately the Mercedes software does not allow controlling the IPhone music from the steering wheel, as it does for older IPods (which do not require the adapter). I also have the same adapter installed on my Bose Sounddock I, to convert it to Bluetooth, and it works well (needs a Bluetooth transmitter on top)

This a good product. I have an old ipod connection in ...

This a good product. I have an old ipod connection in my car and the ipod touch that I have did not work well as the ipod did not charge. With this adapter the music sounds and the ipod is being charge at the same time... The only option that does'nt work is trying to change a song from the steering wheel or the radio. The ipod does not accepts the command.
