Why does this light look like it's 24" long in the pictures but you ssy its only 6" long?

They are short seemed more like 18 inches long 6 wide. The light is very bright but has a narrow beam like a spot light so they dont illuminate a wide area.

What does it have an on off switch

No switch. Plugs in it’s on. Unplug it’s off. Wish it did have a switch. Great light.
