Sony XL-2400 Replacement Lamp for Grand WEGA 3LCD Rear Projection HDTV

Completely satisfied with the purchase. We have purchased several bulbs over the years and none have give us the quality as this bulb. Anyone on the fence about purchasing this bulb to save the money (as we have ) just remember you get what you pay for, in this case quality does count.

Cannot recommend buying this bulb. Went out tonight. Only lasted 2 1/2 months, despite supposedly being brand name. Original bulb in tv lasted over 17 years. Time for a new tv. Won't try any more bulbs.

Overall, the lamp eventually was finally inserted into tv correctly. It is very difficult to get the lamp in because of where the lamp door is located on the tv because it has to be in the exact place or it doesn't work.

So far, so good. I am hoping after purchasing a much cheaper replacement for my Sony WEGA Grand and being sorely disappointed, I have gone back and purchased the original OEM bulb and am praying that it will last as long as it is supposed to. It is working great so far....(holding breath)

I installed the bulb and there's a light blue streak on my screen. I put the old bulb back in and it's gone. The old bulb works but it is 7 years old and I think it is a little dull. Not happy with the purchase.

Second or third purchase! Great product!
