ValterraFlush King™ 45 Degree Reverse Flush Valve Attachment for RV, Camper, Trailer

We had a blockage in out 5th wheel drainage system after 8 years of used. We back flushed the tanks weekly, but there were blockages around the valves. I looked like we were heading toward physically removing the valves, clearing out the area and reinstalling new valves. The unpleasant truth was the blockage was built up in the tank. We reside in a park and do not drive around to agitate for cleanout. We happened upon a company that cleans out blockages using a forcing backwash system. They used this valve and attaches their powerful backflush equipment to it. We immediately ordered one. It arrived the next day and we installed and leave it in place. We now back flush each tank until the water runs clear and we have watched as pieces of debris are elimintated. FOG is reduced and leiminated. This is a game-changer. Buy it, install it, use it.

Warning! That small amount of residual sewage when you hook this on will get you!! If you turn on water before you open the drain valve, sewage will spew past the seals all over you. Too much pressure!!I’ve done it twice… slow learner😃. Always open the lower drain valve before you turn on the water!!!! Had to shower and change clothes. If you’re dumping to leave camp this will set your departure back!!!Otherwise I like this thing cleaning out the tank. Smells way better after dumping.

Great product, combined with the digital water meter, to flush out my black and gray RV tanks. My rig has 45 gallon black and gray tanks. I metered in 53 gallons, accounting for about 10 gallons in my 4" hose, 4 times in the black and twice in my gray. Clean clean clean. Thanks

I have NEVER written a review like I am about to write, before now. This product is utterly a money saving, sensor saving tool!! Since we purchased brand new in late 2022 our tl5th wheel, never have we had a clear galley tank reading. Without any special cleaners, without a professional service and only after the first fill,my tank read only 1 sensor being blocked. Again, from day 1, it was always at least 2 blocked (lit up) EVers and Campers, this will see you literally hundreds of dollars calling out a tank cleaning service if you use this in conjunction with a gage (suggested as an add-on) in the product page. Just make sure first few times, unless you are absolutely sure how much your tank holds, you use a second person so you don't overflow your toilet, kitchen sink or shower. Mine actually showed online I had an 88 gallon Grey tank, but didn't give me info on my galley tank. Turned out it filled at 48 gallons. Now I know. The debris that came out with the first opening was just disgusting and alarming. I did it a second time and again disgusting black huge particles came out this time. To say the least, I am a believer in this product and will preach it to others I meet on our journeys.

Works quite well. Only recommendation I'd have is,, instead of a dial to turn on the water, put a lever so you can tell by just looking that if it's parallel to the hose it's on and if it's perpendicular to the hose its off.

Our enthusiastic German Shepherd pup likes to run under the camper at times, and oops he plowed right into our last setup, and oops we didnt realize it until my husband went to dump the tank and got sick on him. This was our emergency replacement, and it appears to be much more secure! (Plus, we blocked the area more securely from the dog, lol!)

This functions as it should. seems like it's durable and Is easy to use. It's on our RV cleanout tank pipe well. Was a great value compared to stores near me.

Received this item on 5/21/2025. After reading previous reviews about leaks, I tightened the nuts on the valve gate and used teflon tape on the hose inlet to the 45 degree elbow. I also attached a water meter to tell me how many gallons of water were being pumped into the tanks each time. I used it the next day on my 5th wheel RV tanks (3 tanks) that are approximately 50 gallons each. I pumped in 40 gallons of water at our storage sewer dump station and this device cleaned the tanks out in two fills each. It was amazing to see what it does to clean the tanks out. The first fill flushes out most of the residual stuff in the tank and the second fill was clear water. I will use this device from now on instead of the factory clean out as this device does the job I needed it to. This device came with an anti-siphon back flow preventer to put on your hose water source to keep any back flow contamination of the water. Best part of this device is after tightening up the bolts on the valve gate and using teflon tape on the threads of the water inlet on the 45 degree elbow, there were no leaks! I highly recommend this Valterra Flush King device. But I do recommend getting a water hose meter to tell you how many gallons of water you’re pumping into the tanks too so you don’t over fill your tanks with water.
