DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
Light weight,, Great price & quality. I love the fact that it's so easy to fold and unfold and the carry strap is awesome.

NYC model is great!
As an adult, I weigh over 200 pounds and I love this scooter. It supports me beautifully and the NYC model has a great wide platform that feels secure for your footing. Folds up quickly and has a great strap. This is not a lightweight little “kids” scooter. It’s perfect if you are an adult who wants a quick ride that’s not electric, is affordable, is compact, and portable. Best of all it’s fun!

Perfect m
We got this scooter to easily keep up with our toddler on his balance bike (he can ride at speeds just short of my full sprint). It is perfect for that purpose, but also so much fun! As adults we forget how fun things like this actually were, and still are! Seems well made and durable. Smooth, easy ride.

Broke after 100 days
I purchased this scooter for my 13yo son. I chose it because it is suitable for a tall person. He is over 6ft tall and weighs 135lbs. He uses it to scooter in the street. He does not use it for tricks. It rolls smoothly and loved it. Unfortunately, the metal in the stem broke after using it for just over three months. He received it for Christmas and it broke April 4th. The warranty is only 90 days. I contacted the company and the scooter is not repairable. They suggested that I go to their website and purchase a discounted scooter that had been returned. So, buyer beware. This scooter has a very short warranty and potentially with not last.

Bought NYC and Tokyo Scooters- in our 40's!
I bought the tokyo scooter for myself and the NYC for my husband. We are both in our mid 40's and love these!!! I wanted the hand break since as an adult in my mid 40's I've never ridden a scooter before--and I like it, it does give me a sense of extra protection because it works like a bike hand break--- but its VERY slow way. It won't give you a hard and fast stop at all. LOL. I'm glad its there but it doesn't work as well as a bicycle break one does. My husband wanted the extra suspension in the NYC. HIs bike is bigger, appears stronger and is better for his 190lb body size. I DO find that his bike makes for less of a bumpy ride over the cracks in the sidewalk. Both these go very fast downhill-- I'm very pleased with both! If I were to buy again, I might pick the NYC one for myself over the Tokyo onky because the deck where you put your feet is wider and its less jarring over cracks and small pavement bumps--- but I'm also very happy with my Tokyo. Wish the Tokyo came with a handbreak!
