Cheap tripod material for expensive gear, AVOID
Received it yesterday and it was defective, I am very disappointed and frustrated, it was very obvious that it was pre-used tripod, one leg wasn’t working, the one that turns to monopod, but actually when I first decided to buy K&F tripod, I thought of light weight but I didn’t expect to be that cheap in terms of material, I’ve been using Manfrotto tripods for years and there is no comparison by any means. What hurts me is the TIME factor, cause I needed for my work, very disappointing really, and I cannot depend on K&F products anymore.I packed it again and send it back, I cannot risk either my camera or my lenses with a cheap tripod.Manfrotto is a tripod you can rely on.

Let down by 1/4 mount screw ?
Got my new tripod today - just a day after ordering it and three days ahead of expected delivery date - excellent. It looks and feels great - I really like it BUT..I've bought mine for a new pair of Celestron Astro Binoculars (Sky Master 25 * 100 ) given to me as a gift - they apparently mount to any standard camera tripod. This tripod is supposed to take up 10kg load; the bins are less than 5 kg so the tripod looked to be a great option.I was surprised how short the 1/4 inch mount screw is, there's only 4mm of thread to be screwed into the adaptor on my binoculars. I was expecting something at least double the length. The female thread on the binocular mounting is at least 8mm deep – perhaps 10mm. I guess the thread just needs to hold the load against the mounting plate, that any torque generated by the load at the plate is reacted by the plate itself rather than the screw. Nonetheless I’d feel much more comfortable with 8 mm of thread engagement.Surely this would be the same concern if mounting a camera with a long lens? Positive engagement of the mounting screw seems such a fundamental feature for heavier loads. On that basis I’d think this product could be significantly enhanced if shipped with a long and short 1/4 adaptor screw. A longer screw would also avoid some of the issues I’ve read of them easily becomming loose. Is there a longer ¼ screw available from K&F Concept?

Brilliant Can’t fault it
The media could not be loaded. I have been working for production companies for over 10 years finally took the plunge to start my own thing, but during this pandemic as a self employed my work has been reduced, so not enough money etc... but I came across this and it looked good but a lot of things look good but upfront look different or filmsy etc this is exactly how it is described and it looks just like the picture, I watched a few reviews before buying it, for a start up like myself this is really good, I’ve used other expensive tripods etc this is just as good and better then some too, the ball turns 360 and its very smooth and easy to use.*Update---Previously rated 5* is now 3*.... reason being, it has started to fall apart very badly, got myself the real deals instead Benko & Manfrotto's I use this now to place only my LED lights only. But it was good till it lasted still recommend this if your starting out and its better for photography not videography

A clever Idea, but fail in the execution.
First of all the positives. It is very cleverly designed, and infinitely adaptable. It is lovely and light, and very good looking, the monopole is well hidden, but a bit fiddly to extract from the tripod, but It is great to use.But now the negatives:The Tripod is very difficult to use, and you end up with legs everywhere, it is extremely flimsy, I was out yesterday, Photographing some Wild Fowl, it was a beautiful hot day with NO breeze at all and I was stood in a blind, but it was vibrating quite gently as you can see from the first attached out of Focus picture. The catches that hold the legs out at an angle kept slipping, so I ended up using the monopole witch worked better see the second attached photo, with a much sharper focus. Finally, the absolute nightmare was the ball joint the Camera sits, again a fabulous Idea, but poorly executed. The clamping mechanism was either fully locked or completely free. There was no I'm between to allow you to line up the shot.If the manufacturers Iron out these niggles I think it could be a great bit of kit.

Well built, sturdy, and versatile tripod / monopod
I have been looking for a tripod that is going to be stable in small to medium wind conditions. Needless to say this tripod worked perfectly. It is also a detachable monopod. Very interesting! It is light weight but also extremely sturdy. The Ball-Head is Huge.Controls are super smooth.360 Pan feels like a fluid-head.Opening legs are easy.Unlocking & Locking the mechanism to extend the legs, very easy.Buttons in order to expand the footprint on the legs very soft to press.Large camera Plate. All and all, this tripod is a huge win for the money.
