Good portability! Dropped the temperature of my keyboard substantially
I had a trip planned not very long after ordering this cooler. My main laptop cooler, by this same company I believe, works FANTASTIC, but it is much too large to travel with. I was very excited for this one, entirely different set up. It kind of clamps onto your laptop and acts as a vacuum sucking out hot air from the side of your laptop. The charger itself isn’t much larger than a mouse, and its gets its power from the laptop so no extra plug in needed. My laptop gets extremely hot around where my CPU is, and this did fantastic as managing it. I didn’t get exact heat measurements but normally my laptop can get so hot that typing on the keyboard is physically uncomfortable. This set up kind of needs to use used at a desk, it would work in your lap or something but the unit just hangs off the side and its probably more at risk that way. Would recommend this for traveling, fantastic company and products.

Purchased for a Steam Deck, cools down but is loud
I bought this hoping it would fit on the deck and it does! The medium sized silicone gasket fits over the top. Looking at the performance display and running the RE 6 Benchmark, I saw temperatures drop down 15 degrees celsius at the top speed vs stock and 9 degrees celsius at the tolerable but still noticeable noise level.Performance didn't see much improvement - rendered 50 more frames at top speed vs stock out of the ~8000 frames that are in the benchmark (7902 vs 7954). It's not as heavy or clunky as I thought - the only inconveniences are that1) you'll need some way to power it whether that means you have an adapter for the Deck (shortening battery life by a bit) or an external battery pack. For me, I'll be using this when it's docked and looking into sticking it into some kind of enclosure to limit the noise levels.2) It's loud at top speeds, as loud as leaving your desktop case open and up next to you while you're stress testing the processor kind of loud. Loud enough that your partner in the other room asks you if you could turn it down because it's so annoying.Regardless, an almost 10 degree centigrade cooling for the tolerably loud level vs stock. I'm hoping this will help extend the life of the Deck, reducing overall wear and tear on the components especially for the battery. The GPU/CPU run consistently at above 70C without the fan (and 60C with at the medium speed level) which would mean that parts of the battery may be exposed to damaging amounts of heat. Li-polymer batteries like the ones in the Deck start seeing longterm damage at around 130F (54C) and that's been my main concern.

Packs some power.
I have a 4090 in my laptop, as well as a laptop cooler stand. I thought I was taking a chance on getting this, but I'm pleased so far. I've yet to notice any game fps loss, but whenever I touched the bottom of the laptop, it was insanely hot. I bought this fan hoping it would help on top of the cooling stand. I can feel the hot air blowing out well; it has many fan settings, and at the highest, you will slightly hear it run. My laptop also has two vent ports, 1 on each side, one for the CPU and the other for the GPU. I could pick up another for the CPU side, but I probably will not unless my laptop starts having heat issues. Also, don't expect miricles with this fan, just an ounce of prevention is my philosphy.

Works, kind of
It did not seal real well, but it did help keep the temperature down.

MAMA CALL THE POLICE I HAVE BEEN ROBBED!!!!
HELL NO! HEAVENS NO! Nadda! NOPE! Where to begin? This product is designed to suck the air from your laptop expelling heat from your vents. Firstly, there just is not enough power in this unit to manage the job, it very poorly made with the lightest of materials. More alarming is the power consumption of this little money snatcher as it really drains your laptop battery forcing you to only use it in a plugin situation. The way the unit attaches to your laptop is nothing short of ridiculous, that is if you can get it to stay. This pretender was billed as an addition to your laptop cooling pad, if you believe that then your wallet will be violated. There is no way this unit will stay attached with a cooling pad that is elevated as it is using some [rinky-dink] mini suction cups to hold it to your laptop (NO this was NOT in the description.) I paid very little for the unit but was so disappointed I won't bother to put a stamp on it and send it back, It would be and insult to my stamp! I rate this this product as on my 1 to 5 scale as a very well deserved, NEGATIVE -0 DO NOT BUY! What a DOG (bow Wow!)

Fantastic external fan for laptop gaming
Was skeptical if this would really cool my laptop (Asus scar 15). I have a gaming laptop because I travel often, but from the two laptops I've had in the past, and reviews from others, I know these things can run HOT! Hot enough that I fear my performance might be affected, as well as the laptops overall component health. I bought one of these fans as a trial and after an hour of gaming (heavy use of graphics card and CPU) I immediately bought another. Laptop typically is very warm/hot to the touch after gaming. With this fan, it was lightly warm when gaming and cool when just using the laptop generally. TLDR: this fan WILL cool your laptop as long as youre putting it on the correct output fans.
