Excellent, but lacks (?) an advanced customization program
Nice, the Japanese seller did a great job to fill in the French post office's absence. The product works out of the box, but needs mouse tuning since it has its own specific acceleration.Too bad I can't find a driver and/or program that let me set these parameters, other than old windows parameters. This means horizontal-scroll speed remains set and I can't disable or change function of the XButton3 (will try with AHK though)Apparently the driver can be obtained through windows update, but I'm not really sure since the manual is in japanese only. So far didn't had a better luck on Sanwa's website. On the upside, the trackball is very comfy in the hand, better than the M570. Weights about the same. Scroll wheel is great.Edit:Added one star.Using my old M570 today, the scroll wheel is definitely what's best in the Sanwa compared to the Logitech, especially the wheel click. On the other hand, the left and right clicks are louder than on the Logitech, but I fond it fine (and I'm difficult about that, especially for loud keyboards). The XButton3 cannot be set by AHK, but I'll find it a useful feature after all and it doesn't get in the way of my workflow. The horizontal scroll pace can be set in Windows settings. What else? The only drawback is that I need two dongles, one for the Sanwa and another for my Logitech keyboard.Important Notice: Noting the ball was sometimes sluggish when going at slow speed, I replaced it with the Logitech ball as some people suggested, I then had to increase cursor speed. Works super fine now.

Overall it seems to have better reliability then the trackman but for some reason the pointer occasionally slows down, even though I have it set on maximum speed. Then eventually it speeds up again, weird quirk. The ball is harder to remove but because of this it needs less cleaning.

When it works, it's great. But it's super sensitive to interference, and most of the time fails to work properly.
