NewAge Products Pro Series Red 36" Locker Cabinet, Garage Cabinet, 52205

I'm actually giving this cabinet 4 1/2 stars, just for the record. :)I currently own three of these locker-style cabinets. The first two were purchased as part of an eight-piece set which also included three hanging wall cabinets, two shorter floor cabinets, and a workbench. That was well over a year ago, and I have been thrilled with their function and appearance. I recently decided to add another locker cabinet to a different corner of my garage, so I was happy to be able to purchase this piece by itself because it matches the pieces I already have.I'll start by saying that after I installed the initial eight-piece set a year ago, my garage became the envy of every guy in the neighborhood. Every single person who walks into the garage comments on how great these cabinets look. I mean, EVERY SINGLE PERSON. I'll explain what I like so much about this cabinet in particular, then I'll comment on how it works with some of NewAge Products' other pieces (which you can also purchase individually or as part of a set).What makes this a fantastic cabinet:1) It's made of 18-Gauge steel, which makes the body and doors feel really substantial. NewAge Products also makes several cabinet series that are made of thinner 24-Gauge steel; I have seen them in local hardware stores, and personally I think they seem flimsy compared with these 18-Gauge models.2) The doors have soft-close hinges -- in other words, when you push the door closed, they stop a few inches shy of closing and then slowly close themselves the rest of the way. This has saved me from getting yelled at numerous times.3) They are easy to install. The accompanying instructions are well written, well illustrated, and easy to understand. Sadly, that's not always the case these days!4) Assuming you follow the instructions and properly bolt these cabinets to your walls, they are rock solid. You would need a team of horses to pull these things down. I'm a parent and I like knowing that my kids can't pull these down on themselves.5) The doors can be locked closed. Again, as a parent, this is a nice feature.6) VERY spacious interior. This cabinet is 2 feet deep, so it's got some serious capacity.7) The feet are adjustable: simply twist each foot to make it shorter or longer. This feature is especially important for garage cabinets because many garage floors are uneven or, like mine, have a slight slope to allow water drainage. With adjustable feet you can make sure the cabinet is level regardless of how uneven your floor may be.8) The interior of the cabinet can be configured in many different ways. You can insert as many of the shelves as you choose, and they are all adjustable in height. A hanging rod is also included if you want to hang clothes, jackets, or anything else inside.9) The company is responsive and stands behind its products. I say this from experience: although I had no problems with this particular cabinet, the workbench that was part of the eight-piece set I bought last year had a defective top, and the company promptly sent out a replacement part after I called them.A few small things I don't like about this cabinet:1) One of my three tall locker cabinets had a slightly defective interior which affected the slots into which the shelf supports are inserted. This meant I had to use some "unconventional" techniques to coax some of the shelf supports into their slots. Unfortunately I didn't discover this until I had already mounted the cabinet to the wall. Not a deal-breaker, but a little annoying.2) The bottom corners of the doors are quite pointy and sharp. Be careful not to open them into your foot or leg, particularly if you are wearing shorts. Yeah... that hurt. Won't make that mistake twice.As I mentioned above, this locker-style cabinet works very well as part of a set if you have the room. There are several other cabinets in this Pro 3.0 series, and what I especially like is that if you have multiple pieces you can bolt them to each other in addition to bolting them to the wall, giving them even greater stability (each cabinet bolts to the cabinets on either side of it). This is especially nice for the hanging wall cabinets -- I have three of those, and while I "know" they are securely fastened to the wall studs, having them also braced between two of these locker cabinets (which rest on the floor) gives me extra peace of mind.With its sturdiness, flexibility, spacious interior, and sleek appearance, I'm very happy with this locker -- which is why I own three of them!

Good product

The fit and finish of this cabinet is impressive. It is very sturdy and the locking mechanism features 2 cross bolts that engage the cabinet frame. It came well wrapped on a pallet and was delivered by ABF Freight. The driver helped me roll it down my very steep driveway on a pallet jack. It arrived 6 days earlier than the Amazon estimate. (Awesome!)I ordered this as a sample and will definitely add more soon.

Easy to setup. Glad I went with the Pro series versus the cheaper models.

We love this! The delivery was not at all prime, but worth the wait!

We ordered 3 because they are well made and look great in our garage!

Was defective out of the box, the front doors wouldn't close and several of the spot welds were broken. I returned for a refund and am currently shopping for something better.

Great quality for the price! All cabinets were pristine and went together flawlessly. Heavy built and durable finish, right down to the door hinges, just what you want for a garage or shop.
