can i leave the charger plugged in or will it damage the almost $100.00 battery.the worx new trimmer/edger only cost $125.00.

Jack the charger is the least of your problems. the batteries are worthless and only hold a charge for about 1/5 of the job and have to be recharged. they are so bad that Worx is trying to give you 50% off the second battery when you pay almost $100 for the first one. Multiple batteries to service one edger tells you SOMETHING'S WRONG!!!!

Will this fit the W3526?

I tried the Worx website to answer this question and all I am getting is marketing emails now promoting their products. Can anyone actually answer the question about this battery serving as a substitute for the W3526? Mine is dead and I can't find it from Worx.

Where can I get a WORX WA3524.1 CHARGING MANUAL?

You do not need a manual. The charger has a red light when the battery needs charging and when you leave it there until it turns green, the charging is completed and it is usually within an hour depending on the state of discharge.

Made it run like new.

We got our Worx trimmer about 4 years ago and the battery finally gave up the ghost. This is a direct replacement and works wonderfully. Honestly, I wasn't overly shot up about the price, but it is what it is. I like my Worx trimmer, so I need a Worx battery.

Good battery

Husband wanted a second battery for his trimmer. Couldn't find this particular battery in retail stores. He uses this trimmer a lot and now he can finish the job without having to wait for his one battery to recharge. Good service and delivery.

The second one works great and recharges well

I had to send the first battery back because it wouldn't charge. The second one works great and recharges well. I've had no problems and have used it all summer.

Excellent rechargeable battery

Needed extra batteries, and this one is good, but has a short charge life which is fine...we have others...this was a back up. It was packed well and arrived in good condition.

I loved having the strength of a new battery

Charged it first and used it the next day. I loved having the strength of a new battery. Thanks for the fast shipping. Reduced from 5 star to 1 star - September 2nd. Update on review. Battery will not hold a charge, bought a new battery charger and still no charge. Returned charger for not registering red when dead battery was connected. Frustrated. An expensive product that worked for just a few charges.

So far works fine

So far, after about three use/recharge cycles, my two new batteries seem to work fine. Beats having just the one original (it is not a "Max" battery like these) battery that came with my line trimmer, and having to pause halfway through trimming my yard to recharge for several hours (or overnight) before I can finish. With three I can do everything I need to do on a half-acre lot in an hour or two and still have juice when I'm done.I do think they are on the expensive side - they are just batteries for crying out loud - which is why I only gave them 4 stars, but beats the alternative.
