Should definitely outlast the lifespan of my cast. Highly recommend.
Works incredibly well. Simple to put on and remove. See my photos. You just insert your hand into the hole in the middle of the gasket and you're all set.My cast runs to just below my elbow. Since the long-arm and regular length arm cast covers were very close in price, I chose the long-arm model. I could have easily gotten by with the regular length model, I'm sure, and I'd have much less excess material to deal with. The material is very similar to heavier-quality vinyl shower curtain. The ring is hard plastic. A bit cumbersome when knocking around in the shower stall, but well worth any inconvenience.Less expensive, and I believe more practical, than having to pay out-of-pocket for an H2O cast at $25/roll of product at the hospital (P.E.I. pricing) when and if it's available at the time that your cast is applied.Should definitely outlast the lifespan of my cast. Highly recommend.

Not for everyone!
This is a wonderful choice for anyone with a full cast, but it's not good for someone with a partial cast or bandages who lives alone like me. The latex free gasket seals very well but it's difficult to get over a bulky bandage.I had surgery on my dominant hand which left me with a large incision, and two stainless steel rings on the back of my hand. I also have a large incision on the back of my wrist where the surgeon harvested bone marrow for a graft. I have a cast on the bottom of my hand, but only layers of gauze on the top and everthing is wrapped by a tensor bandage. It is extremely difficult and painful to get this sleeve on one-handed. The gasket can only be inched up because it is so tight that it puts pressure on my incisions and pulls on the tensor bandage, which in turn pulls on the rings causing bleeding and severe pain.

not easy to use at all
The reason someone use this is because they have a cast on and need to protect the arm. First off it is very hard to put on and really difficult to take off.... not easy to use at all. I was so excited to receive it, thinking it will make taking a shower so much easier for 6 weeks, unfortunately i has such a hard time with it ... I went back to put a towel and a plastic bag on my arm.

Dry cast
This protector is very important in keeping your cast dry. The quality of the bag and rubber seal is far better than expected. Very good value since it is reusable many times. Be careful how you pull the rubber seal over the cast as any sharp edges may cut the rubber. Very good product.

Uncomfortable
Real pain getting this on and off and it's very uncomfortable. Easier just holding my broken arm up and away.
