I now have two of these and may get more. I really prefer point light sources over the spread-out LED arrays because the aesthetics are simply superior. These are very bright and flexible and easy to add to whatever setup you have. It's great as a simple aquarium light and gives you that signature "shimmer" people drop big bucks on for Kessel and the likes, and it will grow you plants like mad without encouraging too much allergy [sic].I particularly like them for vivariums, terrariums, and emmersed plant setups because you can (optionally) position the light high above the tank and point it where you need it, acting as a great light for whatever plants you might want to grow. It'd probably double as a fantastic hydroponics light.

Not bad for a small aquarium, however why not to supply it with more versatile clip?! This one is good for about 3/8 " rim.

Looks great with the perfect amount of light. Only downsides are no timer, and it gets pretty hot.

Ok so to start I have a kessil light ($400 light) and this light is just a tad bit dimmer , and grows plants just as well this is a quilt light. I'll be making a full product review on my youtube channel @The Aqua Papa
