Place silicone washer on inside of lid. Then place metal washer over silicone washer. Insert screw and tighten until snug.

What are the instructions for pan handle

The pan handle is made up of a bolt and a red silicone type piece. The bolt is put into the end of the pan handle and then started into the pan. Then the red silicone piece attaches to the top of the handle, between the handle and the pan. It actually changes colors with the amount of heat that you have in the pan. It actually goes from a red to more of a white when the pan is on a high set oven. Tighten bolt and enjoy the pan.

Metal around lid is not smooth in 3 places, it’s the 11”. Is that on purpose or is that a defect?
