CampagnoloRecord 11 Cable Kit

My local bike store doesn't have a Campagnolo supplier anymore. They wanted almost $200 for this cable kit and thought they might be able to get it in a month. That didn't include the cost of labor.So I go on Amazon and order this. It was delivered a few days later at a fraction of the price. I took my bike and the cables in to my LBC and they installed them for $70.The old cables were 20 years old. These are so nice in comparison. They are 100% genuine and there were no installation problems. I'm so glad I got them.

I like that these are pre cut. Make sure to pay attention to the housings. They go in specific locations and require little to no trimming. The derailleur cables are uncut, but all the housings and brake cables are. They give you ferrules and end caps.

Campy stuff is expensive, and you could probably hunt down the parts separately, but at least this kit has all you need in one place and at one price. They could have included more cable housing ends and some cable end crimps to make it really complete, however. Cured my bike's notchy shifting. It's butter smooth now.

I have a Cinelli Trainer from the 80's that had Campy cables and gears on it. I wanted to restore it to a new condition. So I bought these to replace the worn cabling. They are somewhat smaller in diameter than the orginals, that threw me at first. They come with housings for all pieces that are also longer than what I had so you have to cut them. Make sure you have a good pair of Diagonal cutters to make those cuts cleanly, for both the cabling and housings. They worked flawlessly and look great. No issues installing them.

I dont see any reason to use any other brand of cable if your bike is equipped with Campagnolo. I live near the ocean and have never experienced rust on the cables and very minimal (if any) stretching. I change cables once a year, but it is not necessary - these can last for at least two years w/o any problems.

Not one size fits all bikes. Housing is pre cut and cannot fit to bike at all when it is internally routed. This package is for externally routes bikes ONLY!
