Nice color and good construction of halter/headstall.However, I specifically bought this to use with my Kimberwicke bit, but I could not attach the bit, as the cheekpieces were too thick to fit through bit attachment openings.Also, while the headstall is doubled and stitched, the reins, bizarrely, are single ply. This means they are not comfortable to hold and do not have any weight, resulting in a total lack of mouthfeel with the horse.Reins are also one piece, not split as with most trail reins.

Can’t complain
haven’t had it long but so far I really like it! Halter combo is a thick double stitched nylon. Reins are thinner, super long and lightweight but I still like them! My mare spooked today and ripped the ring plate she was tied to right off the side of my barn lol But the halter held up great! I’ve had her break reins and a halter tied before so I’m surprised this held up!! Good product for price.
