I LOVE THIS THING!!! The two things it does the absolute best is:1. It wont bite you unless you are being a total idiot.2. It is as maneuverable and controllable as a good conventional safety razor.I use mine on the daily for my face. I have sensitive skin and it does a fantastic job of not irritating me. It makes keeping my face hair in check an incredibly easy experience. There is pretty great visibility around the cutting head, more than I have seen with any conventional style trimmer. The battery lasts forever, even with daily use. It's staying sharp. I don't know how somebody could make this better.Absolute 10/10. All of my shaving problems, bothers, irritations ended when I bought this. This thing deserves some kind of award for how good it is.

I use this to clean shave once a week. I hate using razor blades. This works well but requires multiple passes which I don't mind because is doesn't leave my face raw and I feel smooth enough, not perfect as I would with an actual razor blade. I would not recommend using this without some kind of shaving cream or soap, or else it will feel as if you are plucking out your hairs. It has a solid build, nice to grip. The head unit has lasted quite a while almost 5 months with once a week use and some kind of lubrications like soap or shaving cream. The attachments work well but it wouldn't be practical to use for large areas.

I have been using a different Braun electric razor for the last 30 years, but for the last decade using the sideburn flip-out to do everything.. so it looks like I shaved yesterday, not so squeaky clean this morning.Without any attachment, this was a little closer than I was going for. So I started using there 1mm attachment and it seems great. My wife borrowed it to do her arms and legs and used no attachment and was happy. (We're not sharing razors but I was willing to share for a $50 experiment...).Anyway, the thing works well, I've had it a week, used it a couple of times, and at this point would buy it again. Braun has generally been pretty reliable.

The product itself works and it’s built as Braun has always delivered. The problem is that what you get is not what we’re told. There are supposed to be to be 6 attachements for length, got only 5, shaver comes with a European plug and an converter to North American voltage, and finally, there is no carrying case as described on the website. This is the reason for the star rating, deliver what you advertise!

Bad: If your profession dictates a clean close shave this product isn't for you unless you plan on shaving in your car on the way to work - I shave at night so not to deal with it the next day and with this shaver I already had scruff in the mornings - plus if used in the shower it would miss patches of face even if I went over 2-3 passes (maybe the water adds to much buffer)Good: For shaving the 'Nether' region it was great - I kept waiting for that nick or pinch that comes with my clippers (even with guard) but this shaver removed the hair around those two objects and the crack gently.Summary: I will continue to take the extra minute and use my razor but this product is good for down low shaving

The design is elegant, I mean who wouldn’t love the combo of a single blade trimmer and foil shaver, right? Unfortunately this was neither, as often such ideas turn out to be. It doesn’t have the precision of Phillips OneBlade , nor does deliver as close a shave, even with its built-in foil shaver.The unit I received had additional issues as the motor sounded periodically low and high, which is either a battery or motor speed stabilizer issue. As much I really wanted to like this, unfortunately it didn’t come even close to rival my old Phillips OneBlade.

Works good and gets the job done. Will say, read other reviews about how it doesn’t last past a couple months but it does. Just take care of it and don’t over charge it. Says in the box not to and to charge it only when you need it. Unless you’re a mammoth and grow hair as fast as you breathe in air, you don’t need it plugged in 24/7.

My Story: bought a cheap trimmer earlier (SOLO) to see if I liked the razor style. When it worked it was fine. Battery and the unit died (too soon in my mind). I bought the Braun - seems pricey but worth it if it lasts, and I believe it will. It's a longtime good reputation brand. Works great for beard and goatee. Nice feel to the tool, solid and some "weight". The accessory trimmers are several and work well. I put a 5-star for the battery but that part hasn't been fully tested yet. Remember it's a BEARD / GOATEE trimmer. Won't do a "babyface" cut. OVERALL COMMENT - buy it if your in the market for one.
