Really impressed.
I’m surprised with how much I like these agate burnishers. This is the best priced combined with best quality I’ve found. In my pics you can see they are all practically flawless - only one (and I have that one pictured last) has very minor pitting. I probably won’t bother polishing that one smooth because the others are about perfect. Would definitely purchase again. Really surprised considering the original burnishers I was looking at were around $70 each on an artisanal gilding site. These gilding tools have made my gilding dreams more realistic.

Actually better than the more expensive ones...
I make frames for miniature paintings (generally the size of a dollar bill torn in half) which are AMAZINGLY detailed, so they are viewed, in judging, with a magnifying glass. Whether it's stated in the rules or not, you know the quality of the frame (under a magnifying glass...) will influence the judges so the frames have to be as good as the paintings.I had a huge number of frames to gild and get out the door so I needed a range of burnishers and quick... I got these and a couple more expensive one with handles...the ones with handles were a waste of time and money, I have sandpaper smoother than those....but these little guys were nearly perfect. Got my order done and looking outstanding. My only complaint was that the blunt ends need to be finished as they are not COMPLETELY rounded (they have a little flat spot right at the end) which made burnishing wide areas difficult. Fix that little flaw and they get a perfect rating and SIX stars. If you work on small, detailed projects, get these, you won't be disappointed.

They do the job
I do wish some were thinner or thicker to hold, and easier to get into tight spaces, but over all I would buy again.

Great packaging
We were a little worried about having agate burnishers being shipped to Alaska. The package was shipped great! They bubble wrapped not only the burnishers, but also the whole package itself. They came in perfect condition. There was no breakage, it’s feels great in the hands, and it has a fantastic quality finish on the agate. We are excited to use them in the studio. Thank you for taking the time to package the item neatly and safely. We will be ordering more items from you. Thanks again ☺️

Value for money.
My first burnishers, they fit well in my hand and were a lot cheaper than some of the fancy ones mounted on a wood handle, and I have seen reviews where some of the pricier ones had problems with the ferules.

Good value, good for flat or gently curved areas needing burnishing.
I use these for burnishing gold, silver, and copper leaf. For that, they've been very good. Honestly, there's not much I can find wrong with these, there's several surfaces on each one for burnishing different ways.My only criticism is the "point" part is... Well, it's TOO pointy, to where it's more likely to gouge than burnish (I actually used it for that, to write into dried plaster of Paris). I've got small fiddly gilded areas that need a smaller surface, but the point on these is just too pointy (I would up scratching a bit off, had to re-gild that part).Overall, good value, good for burnishing flatter areas. Might need to look for another one for the little books and crannies, but I'm happy.

Great value
Good for the price, I received all 5 in perfect condition, they were wrapped VERY well, like a burrito then put in a zip lock bag. The smallest is slightly bigger than 8cm and the largest just under 13cm. I don't mind thought because for the price they're great. I agree that the tips can gouge if you're not careful but overall they're perfect.

For experienced gilders
I'm a newbie to gilding gold and silver. My art was on canvas so the burnishers didn't seem to work for me.Almost left a scratch but maybe I was burnishing incorrectly. I ended up using a gloss spray sealer for shine.
