Keeps things dry but a bit delicate
I bought 3 different 40L dry bags while getting ready for a week long canoe trip in the wilderness (BWCA). One of these was this Piscifun bag. This was the only transparent bag of the three I bought and as we started packing our gear we quickly saw that a transparent bag offered a big advantage in terms of trying to quickly locate your stuff in the bag as you could see where it was from the outside and did could usually extract it without having to empty the whole bag. Because of this I immediately bought two more of the Piscifun 40L bags. I liked that they were transparent and that they had backpack straps. The waterproof phone lanyards that came with them were a nice bonus. The idea was that they would keep things dry while in the canoes and then we could easily put them on our backs for the portages. I used two of the Piscifun bags as packs for clothing and personal items for two of my girls and the other I used for a sleeping bag. Overall they worked pretty well. They did keep everything dry during the whole trip. The phone lanyards actually turned out to be really great. They kept the phones absolutely dry and I could operate everything except the touch ID on my phone through the pouch. We even took most of our pictures right through the pouch. The pictures might not have been quite as clear as without, but there was minimal distortion. The picture attached was taken through the Piscifun phone pouch. The two light green bags and the one light blue bag in the lower left of the picture are the Piscifun bags. The blue bag in the center of the picture is a different brand. I was disappointed that 40L is really just a bit small for a full size, low temperature sleeping bag, but I was able to get one in there although it was a bit of a process where I had to fold the back lengthwise into fourths and then carefully feed it into the bag reaching down the sides to stuff it tight to the bottom to get it all to fit. My daughters were not able to do this themselves. I did also put a slight tear near at the top one of the first time I did this when I was pulling on the side to get the sleeping bag stuffed in. Fortunately the tear was at the top and I could still roll over the tear when sealing it so it still stayed dry. I was more careful with it after that. Two of the other brand 40L bags that I purchased which were not transparent I also used for sleeping bags and those were a bit thicker material and I could be a bit more forceful with my stuffing than with this bag. So for sleeping bags I would probably go with a slightly thicker material and forgo the transparent bag as you do not need the transparency when you only have one item in the bag. It worked much better for the girls clothing as there the bag was not as full and it was just a matter of putting things in the bag rather than stuffing it. It worked pretty well as clothing bags for the girls. Kept it all dry and it was relatively easy to find things inside being able to see through the bags. The main reason I gave this only 4 stars though is that the backpack straps were not particularly durable. Early in the trip I took one bag out of the canoe and one of the straps had fallen off. I'm not sure how it happened. I did not notice it getting hooked on anything. It had just been sitting in the canoe and it fell off. Then later, I just tossed one of the other Piscifun bags into the canoe and the hard plastic clasp for the backpacking straps hit the canoe side and shattered into multiple pieces. It was a short gentle toss of maybe 3 feet with about 15 pounds of soft clothing in the bag. I couldn't believe it. The bag was not heavy so we were still able to use the remaining straps in more of a duffle bag mode and it was still pretty easily portaged. I just had not expected it to be that delicate. So overall the bags performed well with their primary function which was to keep things dry. Everything stayed dry in all three of these bags. The phone lanyards turned out to be really useful. The only issue was that the bags were not quite as durable as I had hoped - primarily this is directed at the straps. I would probably still buy them for light items like clothing or towels. I would not buy them for full size sleeping bags though and if you need to use them in a backpack mode you are going to have to take considerable care with the straps.

2L that I was under the impression it was a backpack!
I love the item! But i am very upset! I was under the impression it was a backpack and i was getting two straps. But i only received one strap. Which makes it a shoulder bag NOT a backpack! It would be lovely to receive another strap for being miss lead.Thank you!
