Oakwood Leather Conditioner

I originally came across this leather conditioner at an Arabian Horse Show. I am so happy to have a larger version. It is amazing how well this works on my saddle and bridle! I have tried so many other products and found nothing works as well. It softens and makes the leather supple again... and that is very important with the Arizona dry air! I also gave some to a friend to use on her leather dining room chairs that her cats had damaged and it literally made most of the damage disappear! I use it on my 6 year old Ariat hiking style riding boots that still look great. I have two pairs. The pair I have used this on still look good and don't have tears or cracks in the leather and the pair that I didn't use it on show wear and tear where the stirrup rubs. After I bathe my horse, I wipe them down, dry them out and then cover them with the conditioner. I use a soft clothe to wipe off the excess and they look great!

Have used product on motorcycle leather jackets, seat, saddle bags, etc for several years. Great results & protection.

I use it to condition and protect our everyday saddles and to bring new life into old, dried out tack/saddles. After a good cleaning with a saddle soap, I apply this conditioner liberally with a rag and leave out for it to soak in.

This is terrific stuff. It restored the color by treating the leather. Best I ever used. These chairs and ottomans (I show one of the pair) are 25 years old! Easy to go on and after it is wiped there is no residue or anything to get on your clothing. A great product.

After using this on the two leather chair in my home office, I was so pleased that I wandered around the house looking for other leather items on which to use it. The leather strap of my cloth purse looks almost new again. And my leather watchband which develops cracks very easily is very soft - no indication of cracking anymore. The two leather chairslook good and feel great. This is easy to use since it dries quickly and process of application (which does clean some grime off), can be followed by polishing within an hour or two.

It smells nice, little goes a long way guys. And scratch what they say about darkening, it will darken natural veg tan or light leathers, I applied about 3 weeks ago and the darkness is the same so it should be used on leather with some color or if you don’t mind darkening it.

Like my search for a reliable leather cleaner, I did the same for a leather protectant. I did not feel it necessary to purchase the same brand so my search for cleaner and protectant were done individually. In the end I determined Oakwood's Leather Conditioner was rated tops in lab and personal use by many individuals.I have three expensive European cars with fine leather seats. This conditioner is easy to apply and wipe off and lasts a long time before needing to be reapplied. There is no leather discolorization, stain, or other problems.

I have used many different leather conditioners. I like German ones, and English ones.This one appears to be Canadian.So, with half a tub, l did 8 saddles with stirrup leathers, twice.Nine complete bridles, twice.Assorted bits and pieces, twice.Some were done three times.It is wonderfully richly greasy without being heavy, hard to explain.It also doaks in fairly fast, so you can use the saddle next day without stickiness.

I use this for my leather horse tack and boots, it is a very good leather conditioner. My saddler recommended this product too.

I have to clean my tack prior to using it - normal process right...and this stuff works great. Best I've used in 20+ years in my opinion.
