What is the weight limiton 12inhbracket..?

i have used this shelving for years and never had a problem as they are fixed into sollid brick walls with heavy duty Brown Rawlplugs and screws so they can handle a lot of weight, but if they are being fitted to a modern house that has plasterboard walls i would not trust any thing to take a lot of weight

Yes, but they can be tight to get in place. I use small mallet to tap them in.

Are these compatible with the Newtech system?

Have no knowledge of the Newtech system

What depth are the uprights please? 1.4cm or 1.6cm? In my experience 1.4cm is too shallow to take traditional Spur brackets.

Sorry for the delay. I had no internet. The uprights I have measure 1.4cm internally but take the brackets well. I tap them into place with a small mallet.
