Does reapply every few days mean take off and reapply or apply on top of the previous coat?

Can I use this product by itself or do I have to put polish over it?

Hi there! Thank you for your question. We suggest applying 1 - 2 coats as desired on bare nails. Reapply every other day for buildable coverage. Remove after one week and repeated as needed.
