I personally think this is a very discreet design because it looks just like a humidifier or essential oil steamer. It's pretty and I just keep it out on my bathroom counter. The cups that come with the steamer have an odd plastic smell but work well. I use the steamer for the DivaCup instead. A pretty pouch comes with the cups that can be used to store your menstrual cup. I did not like that the steamer does not stay off after auto-shut off. It kicks back on in the next few minutes if you keep the button activated. Accidentally left it on all night with a cup inside and surprisingly didn't burn the cup to a crisp. Gunk does get left on the pan from the cups so be sure to wipe it out with alcohol wipes or a warm cloth.

The heating element in this device stays on and continues heating after the water is boiled away, unless I unplug it. I try to remember to unplug it as soon as it's done steaming, but last night I forgot. This morning, I woke up to find that the whole device, the cup, and the bathroom counter were extremely hot, because the heating element continued to heat all night! Thank goodness there was nothing flammable nearby! There needs to be an auto shut-off feature for safety. I am throwing this machine away and buying a safer one!

I bought this and thought that it would also be a good place to store used, cleaned cups, but after opening the container the next month, I saw that the remaining water and cup caused a smelly slimy reaction inside. Sorry, for describing it this honest. I believe it is the plastic lid that causes remaining water to stay in (not a lot). I will still use it at the beginning and end of the cycle, but won't store anything in there and will not use it during changing times. They also come with the two cups on the image, which is nice, but I wasn't aware, that these were included. Haven tried them.

I have been boiling my cups for years to clean them but as time goes on they get stained regardless of the cleaning but this product completely renewed all of them to their original glory lol. But in all seriousness this is cute and discreet but does an incredible job

This steamer does what it's supposed to. It looks discreet so it doesn't look like you're steaming your menstrual cup, and you don't have to worry about any smell or anything coming from it. I didn't realize it came with two cups, so that was a plus! It doesn't have an 'auto off' like I thought it did, so you do have to remember when to turn it off and time it. Overall, I'm happy with it!
