Ariat Women's Bella Clog

I am constantly on my feet at work. I used to wear Dansko but they got to be too heavy and for some reason, my feet felt tilted to the side when I wore them. I switched to Borne and the first pair was OK but the next two were not. They were too tight on top of my feet and they didn't become loose after wearing them for a while. I ordered size 7 Ariat but they turned out to be slightly larger than Dansko and Borne. They were still wearable but I switched to 6-1/2 and that was perfect. The Ariat clogs (I bought another style too) are not tight on top of my feet because of the elastic band on either side of the shoe and relatively quick to break them in. For the first week or so, the heels of the shoes kept pulling my socks down but after they were broken in, my socks stayed up. The only thing I am not so sure about still is the more than usual rocker-bottom style of these shoes. I suppose they help your feet roll forward as I am walking but it just feels a little funny. Maybe it's because I am so flat footed. All in all, these clogs are pretty and go well with jeans. It's nice to wear something other than plain black clogs. They are comfortable enough for me to wear them everyday.

I bought this clog because I love the composite toe work clogs I got from Ariat. I thought these would fit the same, but they are a little loose, I think they are wider. They also tend to hurt my knees, which I don't understand at all. Still, they are cute and go perfect with jeans. I just don't wear them for very long!

I first fell in love with the Dansko style of shoe because of the comfort (I own two pairs of Dansko sandals that I can live in). I was looking for a cooler weather shoe and wanted to get a Dansko clog. However, the styles were so boring. Then I discovered this shoe. It adds just enough to make them look less utilitarian.When wearing them with my jeans, they remind me of how a boot looks and feels, but soooo much more comfortable. I love these shoes! They are comfortable, stylish and made of good quality material. I have a very large bunion on one of my feet (gross, I know) and this shoe gives me no issues with discomfort at all.I have to comment on the fit. I've read reviews that state they are 'too big' or 'too small' or 'I couldn't get my foot in it'. Well, I have a wide 8.5 - 9 size foot. If the shoe is available in wide, I usually get an 8.5, if not, I go with the 9. My Dansko sandals are a 39, which is my usual European size. I bought this shoe in a size 9 and it is a perfect fit. As for not being able to get your foot in the shoe, it is a little snug getting your foot INTO the shoe. However, once the shoe is on your foot, it is not too snug. I have a high instep and the shoe fits tightly around the instep, but no uncomfortably so. This is all preferable so that the shoe stays on. Otherwise, I think the shoe would come off very easily and not feel very stable. Nothing is uncomfortable about the 'snugness' or the fit of the shoe. Just don't be alarmed when you cannot just slide your foot into this shoe. I don't think it was meant to be like that.This is a stylish comfort shoe that I will be purchasing more of. :)

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about how these would feel. I am very pleased with how they fit and feel. This is only my second pair of Ariat shoes and I wore the other ones out so I needed another pair. I am impressed with the fit, feel, and comfort of this brand of shoes. I do a lot of walking and this brand is the only one I have been able to find that stand up to my gait. I am a plus size woman so my step can be pretty heavy, but these shoes are very sturdy. The color in person is pretty true to the picture. I will be purchasing a few more styles in this brand. My only complaint is that the company I got them from did not give me tracking info.

I found a pair of Ariats quite by accident two years ago and have since sworn by the brand. I have terrible neck and back problems and love these shoes for the sturdy comfort they provide. So it was time for a new pair, and I ordered the Bella Clog in a size 8M. I just received them today and immediately put them on. What a disappointment! I have to return these shoes because one is bigger than the other! My left foot is slightly larger (1/4-size longer) than my right, so I would expect the left shoe to be a bit more snug, which would be OK........BUT! when I tried on the shoes, the LEFT shoe (on my longer foot) was very loose. The right fit perfectly. I walked around my office and really noticed the difference in size. I had read many reviews on the current Ariat styles and other customers had said the same thing! I couldn't believe it today when the shoes were different sizes. Now I have to hassle with a return, but there's no way my good money is going towards shoes that don't fit properly. So sad. :-(

My first impression after wearing them for a day was to give them 4 stars. But after a week of wearing them (with soft thick socks) I'm liking them better and better. I never buy smaller than an 8, and was surprised that even with my slightly high instep, the opening was loose on my foot and the shoes were not the good snug fit I expected. I was also disappointed in the lack of cushy padding, but this might be about stability. The ball of my foot felt slightly bruised after the first day, and I could not add a pad because then my foot sat too high in the shoe and caused the back to flip off as I walked. But here is what I think sets them apart. First, they are very well made and the embroidered flowers make them unusually attractive. The textured leather means they look nice without a lot of polishing. I also love the soft, slient feel of the rubber sole when walking on the sidewalk and the fact that they don't leave black marks on linoleum. There is plenty of toe width so that my little toes never get pinched. Wearing them with soft, thick socks has made all the difference for me. I've been on my feet all day today, and they feel great. They are priced right for such a well-made shoe.
