Not a good smell
Could be an isolated Incident but the bag I got smelled rancid. It says it has vegetables like carrots and greens but looking at it closely and reading the ingredients, it’s full Of yellow blue and red dye. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Weak Bag
The seam along the whole side will suddenly and unexpectedly split open and spill all the dog food on the floor or the parking lot or wherever. you are. Pedigree does not care. Amazon does not care.

Whole grain corn is the first ingredient
The kibbles are a medium size. They are chunky and definitely better for larger dogs. It has a very fresh smell. The particular flavor I have is grilled steak and vegetables. It has brown color but there’s also brighter colors like yellows and greens. It is not an overly oily food and is still crunchy. There’s no way to seal the bag so I store mine in a plastic dog food container. It’s a large bag but it’s easy to manage. My dog does like the flavor and it’s one that I would purchase again for them. Also important, it is made in the United States. The first ingredients are ground whole grain corn, meat, and bonemeal. So it doesn’t have any protein as the first ingredient. This, to me, doesn’t necessarily put this food in the top dog food category but I have been satisfied with it. My dog hasn’t experienced any issues while eating this food.

No complains from my pup
I have been using Pedigree dog food for my cocker spaniel and border collie pup since we brought him home two years ago. So I was definitely willing to give this particular one a try.And so far so good. My pup has been able to eat this with no issues at all! He eats the whole bowl at once and doesn’t seam to dislike anything about it. Plus the price point is not crazy high. Win win!

Our dogs love this steak and vegetable flavor Pedigree dog food and I like how good for them it is. It's full of the vitamins and minerals and protein growing dogs need, and meat and bone is the second ingredient on the list. There's no high fructose corn syrup or sugar added, and no artificial flavors, so I can feel comfortable that I'm giving them the best food I can. 5 stars
