Very sturdy and perfect for developing confidence on the ice. With little kids their first instinct is to try and walk on the ice, and the double blades allow first-time skaters to ease into gliding without falling every two seconds. Perfect for the beginner to build confidence and learn technique, without getting frustrated and quitting.Excellent value, well made, very comfortable with room for thick socks. They're not well insulted, but they run a little big for thick socks, which makes it perfect to adjust for indoor/outdoor rinks. The design is super cute too!

My daughter uses these about once a week since I’ve bought them , she says they are so comfortable and she is able to skate more secure . I’ve noticed she has more balance on the ice then before . They are super cute the only disappointment I had was they didn’t come with the flower design they were all white with pink laces .

when ordering it would have helped to know that ice skates and hockey skates are about a size to a size and a half bigger than a shoe size. Double socks dont really help. These are fairly inexpensive and are not extremely high quality, so dont expect it, the runner is more alluminum and does give. They definately suit the purpose for my 3 year old trying to skate with the big boys.

These were for a 7-year-old for her 1st skates and she squealed when she saw them. They fit perfectly, are comfortable for her, and she liked that the double blade allowed her to be fairly steady as she learned.

No ankle support whatsoever. The entire body of the skate is so flimsy, there is not even a tiny bit of padding. TOTALLY inappropriate & unusable for a 1st time toddler-skater.Very disappointed.

I purchased the skates as a Christmas present for my three and five year old granddaughters. They will love the flowers on them and should do well with the security of the double blades as they learn to skate.

I know that the double blade helped my 5 year old balance and boosted her confidence on the ice. Some would call it a crutch, but it also made her first time ice skating an enjoyable adventure. She was able to stay up most of the time, and she did not stop after ten minutes like her older cousin did. In fact, I had to drag her off the ice an hour later! These were inexpensive and perfect for a first timer. She enjoyed her Christmas present, and I definitely got my money's worth from that first skate experience. Next year, we will go to a single blade.

Got the pink one for my 3 year old daughter who's just learning how to skate. The double blade offers added support for her to gain confidence on the ice. The blades were sharp enough for her to learn to skate. While it will be a little different with a single blade skate this has allowed her to learn the basics without as much time falling down so that the transition will be smoother.
