It is a mess to use.
I would buy a filter that is preoiled before I would try and do it myself. It is a mess and always take more oil than they say.

Best foam filter oil ever.
Best off-road filter oil that I have ever used. Cleans so easy and does not plug up the air filter so more air flow. Use Arm and Hammer Super Wash Soda to clean the filter for a cheaper way to get the oil and dirt out of the filter.

use rubber gloves
great stuff, super sticky and doesn't rinse off with water so be careful. i would guess im only going to be able to treat 4-5 filters per bottle which is my only complaint (says ~8 on youtube)
