This is a great tent, considering buying another for my boys. My favorite thing about it is the simple setup with the pole pockets and the durability of the poles. The tent is also lighter because it has a thin floor. You could take it backpacking if you were camping with a large group. The negatives are the zipper hangs (like all tents), the floor is thin so it will need patch tape if you sleep with a cot, and it doesn’t have great air flow. However, the full rain fly on 3 sides is good for cold weather and water. You will need a ground tarp, tucked underneath to keep water from seeping in. I know tents, having spent 30+ years running an outdoor program. This is a good tent; simply designed and easy to put together. I put it up on my own in 5-minutes, and it seems sturdy, with plenty of room for six adults inside.

Tent poles were very cheap and were coming apart in the woods when we assembled for the first time. Thankfully we had duct tape to keep the poles together and the tent upright. I am returning.

This a good tent for use in fair weather. Super easy to set up. Spacious inside, with numerous pockets. The zipper does often get stuck, but this is only a minor inconvience to me. The floor is also very thin - I used a camping cot and it tore some tiny holes in the floor, so this is perhaps not a good option if you're a cot camper. Make sure to get the footprint for it too.
