So despite returning the product, I must say that the craftsmanship and quality of the product was excellent. The stitching was very uniform and you can tell that they used high quality material for this. It was shipped in a way that the 13 tiles were laid flat and so they were perfect and ready to be stuck on the stairs. The only reason for my return is that after reviewing their website and looking at the various colorations and weaving patterns, I "assumed" that the color of the outer edge was black like several of the others that I looked at from this company. On the product description, it just says "gold" but it was actually a darker brown coloration instead of the black coloration. So just know that to me (not to my color-deficient husband) - the product description was a little decieving only b/c it noted "gold" without the added "brown outline". The other reason I returned was again, personal preference, in that the center section of the weave just didn't feel soft on my feet which I was already concerned about, and though my husband loved it, I returned it.Now based on the return policy after review, it almost seemed like it was not returnable without some major deductions and when I called their customer service, they were prompt to pick up the phone (a real live person!!) and she immediately addressed the issue, gave me the required return confirmation code, and explained that they would just deduct the shipping fee (~$5)... Called again regarding a snafu with my refund (only b/c I partially paid with Amazon reward points) and again was met with immediately answer (a real live person!!) and said she'd have to follow up on the resolution with Amazon directly.Overall, I think the workmanship and quality of the product and customer service of the company was excellent, just didn't exactly fit what I was looking for.

Quality p reduction, clear installation directions and shipping wad ad promised with product securely packaged. I would purchase this product again, if needed

I actually ordered this because my sweet dog is getting so old that navigating the staira is challenging as he kept sliding down. These were great quality, rubber backing, hand stitched and so easy to install with the tape that I purchased separately. I was worried that it would slide around but the tape holds fabulously and they look great. The bonus is that it’s easier for me to walk up and down the stairs too!

They are slightly deeper than described - more like 9-1/4”. I have shallow treads (9”) on the stairs to the 3rd floor but I ended up putting them on the stairs to the basement. To the manufacturer I’d suggest adding double-sided tape to the backs. Having to cut the double-sided carpet tape (purchased separately) was a messy pain. Otherwise they’re wonderful. My Lab no longer looks at the stairs with fear or sadness.

I've lived with these stair treads for almost a year now. They have maintained their appearance and quality, and do not show any wear. Dirt comes up quickly with vacuuming. I have not secured them to the stairs with tacks or carpet tape so they sometimes move a little bit, but they stick to the stairs well enough for my use, due to the latex backing.Just fyi, my stairs are a painted wood, which previous owners had glued onto (with rubber cement) an ugly black plastic runner. I ripped that off, which left either bare wood or residue from the glue on the steps. These treads covered up that mess beautifully!

Easy to install (carpet tape is a pain to work with, but nothing to do with the treads), they have not moved, curled or warped from use. Easy to clean with stick vacuum or shop vac,

During Covid my husband and I decided to refinish our stairs. Of course we didn't know that stairs are a lot of work. After all the weeks we put into them the last thing we wanted was for our 100lb Lab to scratch the stain. I looked on Amazon and found these great stair treads. They look amazing against the black stain and white stair risers. I love them!

I had another set of these that served me well for 3+ years, but my dog soiled several of them so I needed another set. These are attractive and appear to be of good quality. But my stairs are exactly 29" wide, and most treads in this set are at least 29.5" or longer. It's not a dealbreaker but it certainly doesn't look ideal.
