ACOPOWER HY-AS-FD8MM DC 8mm Female to Solar Connector Adapter, Black

Loose fitting when connected to Jackery Saga 100 (whose connectors are incompatible with everything else on market!) despite picture of it in their Amazon marketing showing it attached to this. Too expensive (as no competition, not even from Jackery). Needed to adapt from Jackery 8mm DC connector to MC4 connectors used on just about everything else solar panel related.

The rubber on the female end extended to far preventing contact with the male electrode. I was able to correct the issue by cutting back some of the rubber covering allowing a solid connection

Been racking my brain with my new JACKERY solar panel connecting to a non JACKERY portable generator. The generator is 6mm*3mm most adapters are 5.5 mm 2.1 too small. Additionally, I needed a female to fit into JACKERY male

I purchase this item to use with my goal zero yeti 400 using a Nomad 20 to test out. When I test polarity with my multimeter + was -. This could have damaged my battery, this item is not configured properly. I would not recommend any purchasing this item. Because of my current circumstances I’ll have to try and switch to MC4 connectors to correct to problem.

This unit doesn’t charge from my solar panel to my power station. At the same time I bought a similar cable from SolarEnz and that works reliably fine. It is the female 8mm plug that doesn’t make solid connection I believe. Don’t waste your money on this product. Get the SolarEnz 8mm to MC4 cable which is even longer than this AcoPower product.
