I’m trying to decide between the hard and soft case. What are all the differences between the two? Are the front covers the same?

Hard shell will have hard plastic in the back. Soft will have silicone kind of material which is good for the iPad to avoid any scratches developing due to hard case. Front cover will be same for all I think. I strongly recommend you to buy soft shell case and Kenke is one the very best looking and functional case. Navy blue color is really amazing. Looks so rich and protects as expected but for such a cheap price.
