Works well to make gummies but tastes like beef

We are working hard to be healthy and use natural products and make our own food and desserts, rather than buy already packaged items. I've also heard that beef unflavored gelatin provides the same benefits as collagen but is much cheaper - and it is. I use this gelatin to add protein and thickness to protein shakes, pudding for the most part. I'm exploring the possibilities of how I can use it. It's easy to use because there's no flavor to it, so it's easy to vary what I use with it. We are also gluten free, so it's also a easier and healthier way to add a thickener to soups and gravy, that also adds protein rather than flour or some other thickener. I love the versatility. This product is fresh and has a use by date 2 years in the future. I don't have any doubt that we will use it all before then!

Love using the "Hearthy Foods, Gelatin Grass-Fed Bone Broth Protein, with 100 Percent Bovine, 32 Ounces - Pack of 2" as it works great as a thickener and adds much-needed protein. There isn't much flavor to the powder so you can use it in many dishes. Most people use this for cold items like puddings, jellos, gummies, snacks etc. I use it the most in hot foods. I generally add a teaspoon or tablespoon (depending on the amount of food) at a time. I mix it in and then add more as needed. It makes plain homemade veggie broth more stick-to-your-ribs rather than being water-like. I added some to a pot of beef and veggie soup and gave it some thickness. One of my favorite ways to use gelatin powder is in making gravy/sauce etc. I appreciate that the two 1lb bags have ziploc-type closures that work well. I received my bags in Dec 2023 and the use by date isn't til 10/2025. Made in the USA. Great product to have in your kitchen!

We follow a low carb diet so one of our treats we like to make us sugar free puddings and jello type dessert. This beef gelatin works amazingly well in setting up in those types of desserts. I love that it is a quality grass fed beef gelatin that has no off putting order or taste. It is a very pure and clean product that I enjoy using. The bulk amount will last us a while and the resealable bags are a plus. Highly recommend!

I've been getting into using gelatin and collagen as part of my beauty routine and got tired of buying little packets of gelatin at the store, which is why I decided to try this 2 pack of large bagged gelatin. The biggest thing I noticed that I liked right up front is that this gelatin doesn't have a strong odor/flavor like other brands, which was a huge relief. However, I don't feel like it dissolves as well as I'd like it to. I'm used to dissolving some in my coffee and it dissolves right in, but I find with this gelatin it ends up clumping up, and sometimes it is just left as a goop on the bottom of my cup, so I doubt I actually got any of it. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with it and overall I do recommend it, I just think it works better for recipes like jello or gummies, as it doesn't dissolve well enough for drinking.

To me, the important thing to read is Gelatin and not Bone Broth. It may be made with bone broth but this is definitely gelatin.What this is:Two packages of Unflavored Gelatin. No hormones. The scoop that comes in the bag is MORE than 1 full tablespoon. It is probably a 2 tablespoon scoop. I measured on a scale for accuracy.To try it out:Opening it up, it is a fine white powder.
