Supermarkets I visit stock every variety of Frontera sauces except the mole. We love this stuff. I've tried other brands and they don't come close to the authentic flavor of the Frontera (with whom I have no association). The complaint about bitterness is just a reflection of the wrong expectation about the sauce. It is chocolate based. Chocolate is bitter. The sauce is not strictly bitter but has a bitter overtone to it. I gave a pack to my daughter for her to try out on her fussy kids who don't like to experiment. They loved it and now she orders it by the 6-pack too. It is extremely easy to use and applicable to a variety of foods. I'm a male, amateur cook and have never failed with it.

I like the flavor its a bit diff but good and easy to use all I had to do was warm it a bit great not too thick nor too thin just perfect and not spicy at all.

Best store bought mole
I love this stuff sooooo much. If you add 2 tablespoons of PB2 chocolate to the mix you get an AMAZING mole with a more authentic taste. So so easy.

The best mexican sauce around!!
I've been buying this sauce for a couple of years now and have pretty much gotten hooked on the chicken I cook with it. It's a little hot so I add chicken broth to tame it down, some mild salsa, chopped sautéed onions, and a little Jack & Cheddar cheese. Absolutely delicious over rice. I also think their Mild Taco sauce mix is the best I've had and have gotten friends to buying it also. This one isn't available at my grocery store anymore so thank goodness I can get on Amazon.

I prefer mine sweeter, but this was in the general neighborhood of something I would buy.

My family enjoys this sauce, but it is difficult for me to find in my local stores. Therefore I purchased it via Amazon Prime which is very convenient. I think all the sauces Rick Bayless creates and packages in the Frontera line are very good. They are a real time saver for putting a last minute dinner together. With this sauce I like to add cooked potato chunks, peppers, onions, and chicken. It does have a bit of a kick, but it is really tasty.

Will definitely buy again
This mole is delicious! Can be a little too spicy for little ones but easy fix, don't keep all of the food sitting in the sauce
