Double Quick Strip Pouch

A Better Way to Carry Spare Ammo
The Tuff Quickstrip Pouch does what it advertises! After reading a whole bunch of reviews for this size pouch (small - 5357) and the medium sized pouch, I felt COMPELLED to write this review.First, about the product: it's durable and it works. Pretty simple. Now, to address some of the erroneous reviews:- The pouch DOES carry two five round quickstrips, or Bianchi speed strips in my case. It's tight, but it does carry two. The caveat is that when you are carrying two quickstrips, it does print. If I'm wearing a tighter fitting shirt, I'll carry one strip and it sits pretty flat.- It doesn't fall off your belt when you open the flap, nor do the strips fall out, provided you are using your belt for its intended purpose (holding your pants up).- The biggest issue that other reviewers have had was that they say that it doesn't have belt loops. Operator error, the pouch is intended to go around your belt. I've attached pictures for those of you that are looking at this product but dissuaded by those one and two star reviews. Just my opinion but people who can't figure out how to wear this pouch probably shouldn't be writing reviews.

Excellent Concealment
A little pricey for what it is, but it is a well crafted, quality little ammo pouch. I carry a 5 shot revolver and wanted to carry speed strips due to their concealability, as speed loaders are too bulky for me. I find this option conceals very well, and so I wear it to the right of my belt buckle with my shirt completely covering it. But even on the few occasions when I wear it at the back of my belt, the profile is so slim that it wouldn't draw attention. The pouch is designed to hold two 5 round speed strips snugly (5357 model), however I use two 6 round speed strips with 5 loaded in each so when i draw I can have 2 rounds on one side of my finger and 3 on the other. This helps me with my speed and consistency, and with practice I find this method of reloading to be only marginally slower than with a speed loader. The ammo carrier wraps around the belt instead of utilizing a belt loop, so that allows me to carry one strip in the pouch, and the other behind my belt, as it is held in place by the backside of the carrier. Being that there is an empty gap in-between my rounds in each strip due to my method of carry, the speed strip bows a little to fit in the pouch, but it's not enough to interfere with the function or operations of the ammo carrier. In fact, it actually helps my finger find the gap due to it being raised. I only gave it a 4 star rating because I think $13 is a little high, and I feel that over time, the Velcro might wear out. Otherwise, this is a must have for concealment.

Quick Fix
Bought this little pouch for SP101 (357 mag speed strips). Nice but not intended to fit on belt, Right? Wrong!!! Hey at 71ish I still get a brite idea😳 every once in a while. So....if you’ve got an old back pack strap laying around (see pictures) should be about 1 3/4 wide and 4 1/2 long, have it sewn on the back of the pouch at the bottom edge and at the top about where the seam is for the Velcro clouded. And there you have it, it will now fit on your belt!!! Of course somebody will say it doesn’t/did’nt work-BUT MINE DID!!!!!!!

Wrong Pouch for 6 round .38 SPL/.357 "Speed Srtips"
This pouch is too small for 2 Bianchi "Speed Strips" which each hold 6 .38 SPL or .357 Magnum cartridges. Tuff makes the right pouch, but this one isn't it. I have one of the correct pouches, but it is about 1/2" larger by each dimension. I won't send this back for the price, but don't buy this pouch if it's for strips that hold 6 ea. .38's or .357's. This is probably for strips that hold 5 rounds or smaller calibers. There's nothing wrong with the product itself. It's well made and in the right size does the job.

Great Product
I received this today and after trying it out several ways, I think the best way to position the strips is vertically. It was almost too tight of a fit to have two strips horizontal but standing up vertically I was able to easily slide them into the pouch. Plus by having the tabs of the strips up you can easily and very quickly draw them out of the pouch. Great little pouch. I have the small size and use it with a five round strip.

If you carry, you should carry extra ammo
I pocket carry a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .38 in a DeSantis Nemesis with 5 in the cylinder and another 10 rounds on 2 Quickstrips in this Tuff Double Pouch. I am right-handed so the .38 is in my right front pocket, Quick Strip Pouch in left rear. With practice, I can fairly quickly reload. The pouch is held closed with velcro which is easily opened then there is room in the pouch for two 5-round quick strips sitting side by side, bullets faced down. When carrying, there is no way anyone can tell I have 10 rounds of .38 Special +P in my back pocket. This pouch works well for my needs.

Perfect for back up "on person" ammo holder, to cover a .38 cal. CCW revolver.
Perfect for back up for "on person" ammo holder, to cover a .38 cal. CCW revolver. I bought second one & wear them both, all the time on my belt. Unlike speed loader pouches, these are not readily identifiable or even noticeable, as to their purpose. I have tried both. These are easily assumed as possible being a change purse, if they are even noticed at all, on a person wearing black pants & belt, as I do.

The one individual who stated" I'm disappointed that there is no belt loop on this case" ...
The one individual who stated" I'm disappointed that there is no belt loop on this case" is misinformed. When you open the Velcro front to expose the two opposed( placed with plastic tabs on opposite ends) you simply fold the flap over your belt and the Velcro holds the two loaded strips flat against your belt and abdomen. Any additional belt loop besides being redundant, adds to this fine pouch's thickness and bulk.
