Disclaimer : Picked this up as a stopgap until I could find a set of nice dress boots that would last at least 5 years and had superior build quality.With the warning out of the way, I didn't have high expectations for these boots. Appearance wise, they are appropriate enough to wear with a business suit without anyone batting an eye. They will take some time to break in, and have a tendency to crease at the top fairly early in the service life. The OEM insoles are not a long term solution, so I'd recommend changing these within six months. The zipper feature is worth at least half the asking price. Works very well and cuts the frustration associated with ankle - / half calf-high boots. Outside of the creases, these take a fair bit of scuffing and flat foot shenanigans without showing visible wear. Overall, these are actually a great option if you don't like the idea of being married to a certain style for at least a decade. For the money, it's worth the buy. Not the best. Definitely not rugged enough to consider a long term war horse. What it does well is letting you explore the idea of a dressier boot option while not setting you back too much to stop planning and researching for something you really want.

The shoes look fine, but I have worn them for only two days and when I put them on this morning for the third day I just thought, "Man, these are so uncomfortable I just don't think I can wear them today." They are VERY stiff, and I feel like I have bruises on my ankles because there is no give when I walk. The sole is definitely NOT a non-slip, and the shoes also have a funny chemically smell to them. I will probably wear them intermittently if I know I will not be wearing them for a long period of time, or doing any walking, or anything other than sitting down outdoors so that the smell doesn't alarm anyone.

Well, I got my Metro Charm boots and it looks really good. It does look like it’s not going to last long but will give couple of weeks then will write a second review.

These will look great with your outfit and in photos for your special event, but don't count on them being comfortable for very long. They are VERY stiff.

Shoes were fine for about 2 1/2 weeks and then the heels cracked. Today the 30th day since the purchase date and I found that the sole had worn almost completely through. They look nice but are made with extremely cheap material and should cost about $30 instead of over $50. Will be returning these today.

Like the price, great shoe for the price. In addition, I bought two pair for myself and one for the student I mentor. I bought two pairs in case they discontinue it. I wear the both as dress shoes and casual.

They are uncomfortable and have a weird smell. I do not suggest these to anyone.

These were given to me as a Christmas gift and I love them. I have worn them many times since Christmas and love the way they feel. They fit like they were customer made for my feet.
