My version of this product has a sticker around the mouth of the cylinder that says how much material to use. I would not deviate from that amount.

If you can find the proper manifold blocks and know how to work with NPT fittings. You would need to place it in the output pre-solenoid. I would check gas and welding supply stores for the correct parts otherwise it will probably leak.
