GREAT Product, One Issue...
I first discovered this little gem on Shark Tank a few weeks ago. My husband and I have owned an iPad 2 for quite some time now and my biggest frustration with it is the speaker being on the back. I found myself constantly cupping my hand behind the iPad over the speaker if there was any background noise around. One day while I was (attempting) to watch YouTube videos on my iPad in the same room that my husband was playing a video game, I (frustratingly) told him that he needed to invent something to divert the sound from the iPad speaker to the front screen. I couldn't hear anything and was tired of constantly cupping my hand behind the iPad! It was literally that next Friday when we were watching Shark Tank that Rabbi Moshe Weiss showcased his simply brilliant invention (to my extreme excitement but also to my frustration because I didn't think of/invent it first!). I logged onto Amazon the very next day and ordered mine! And let me tell you, it DEFINITELY works! It really makes a difference and I am very pleased with my purchase. However, I do have one issue with this product. When we first opened the package and attached The SoundBender to the iPad, it felt as though the magnet in the device was backwards. There was a slight resistance when trying to attach it over the speaker. So, I decided that I would try to fix it. I pushed the magnet out of it's little holder (I made sure to be VERY careful as to not break the little plastic tab holding it in place and I also used a pair of tweezers to pull it out) and flipped the magnet around and put it back in the holder. This did the trick! It attaches much easier now and seems to hold in place better and stronger than before. Other than that little issue, it is perfect! I highly recommend this product to other iPad users. :)

Don't believe the hype
It all sounds good in principle, but don't believe the staged testimonial video which is obviously the family of the creator. The device fits poorly, doesn't overlap enough with the iPad internal magnets to create solid connections (at least half of the stability is friction, not magnetism) and the difference in sound is negligible. To test the "stay in place" nature of the device, I did a quick "flick" test of my iPad and the SoundBender flew across the room. Not that you would do this often or at all, but it does prove that this device is not actually stuck in place with magnetism. It was cheap. It does increase sound output to the user a little, but the the claims are hogwash. It doesn't stay in place. it actually sits over the speaker (meaning that although you hear a little more out the front, much of the sound is actually be muted by the device). It doesn't fit well. The magnet is weak and actually friction is playing a larger role in keeping the device in place. How this won awards is questionable and likely due to lack of competition rather than actual innovation. If you are looking to get one, don't expect miracles. If you are hemming and hawing over this purchase or another, buy the other thing, no matter what it is.

Want the bottom line? It works.
You probably saw this product on Shark Tank. I am not a big fan of the speaker location on my IPad. When I crosstrain, it is difficult to hear video dialog. The SoundBender 2.0 has significantly and meaningfully improved the video experience.Look, this isn't rocket science ... it's a piece of plastic with a magnet built in. You aren't paying $20 for a .50 piece of plastic. You are paying $20 for a solution to an irritant...that of low/poor volume. You don't have to pay the $20 ... the IPad speaker "works". This solution helps it work better. With that in mind, its 20 bucks well spent. Considering inflation, what does $20 buy me now-a-days? A decent lunch? This was money well spent. If you keep your expectations resonable, I think you'll agree with me.Last comment: to the Rabbi that invented this, I say "well done sir ... well done". Before your product I was trying to redirect the sound with various objects and failing miserably. I hope this product changes your life financially. You deserve it.

Leaves a good deal of the speaker uncovered
So far I'm not noticing any difference. As my mom would say maybe I didn't wash out my ears. It does stay on well though and doesn't fall off. Doesn't seem to cover and cup the entire speaker. Leaves a good deal of the speaker uncovered, so I wouldn't expect it to deliver, redirect enough of the sound when it doesn't have it to modify. Probably because my DEVICEWEAR cover is too thick. I don't want to have to take the cover off to see. I don't know if that's enough of a reason for a three and not a two. When I take my cover off I will add to this review.

Doesn't fit right
The SoundBender does as advertised. It at least doubles the volume by simply directing the sound too you rather that away from you. It also fits properly (and magnetically) on the IPad. The problem is that I, like most of us, have my IPad in a protective case. In my case, the magnetic case sold by Apple. The SoundBender does not fit the case perferations where the speaker is. it's about 1/2 inch short of covering the speaker so it has no effect on the volume at all. To use it properly, I have to remove the IPad from its case. Very inconvenient I must say.

Hmmmm.
We'll the item arrived in a safe package and was NEW and all, but here is the down side I received the wrong color, the soundbender magnet does not work at all. The thing pops off it does not fit right so a little piece of aluminum tape nicely cut and it now stays on. I must also say that the AMP noise is not correct, it is NOT a big noise booster save your money buy blue tooth speakers on Amazon may cost little more but it will save you the headache.

Easy on easy off
The product does do its job but only if you do not have a case on your iPad. I feel it falls off easy and the arms or the back need to be a little longer. Also there should be some way to adjust it for a more secure fit. Maybe hinged in some way. It did do the job of making speaker work louder which is why I rated it as okay.
