Stylish and Functional: Moen Gibson Brushed Nickel Two-Handle Bathroom Faucet
I recently upgraded my bathroom with the Moen Gibson Brushed Nickel Two-Handle Adjustable Widespread High Arc Modern Bathroom Sink Faucet, and it has been a fantastic addition. This faucet perfectly balances style and functionality, making it an excellent choice for any modern bathroom.First off, the brushed nickel finish is stunning. It has a sleek, contemporary look that complements a wide range of bathroom decors. The high arc design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical, providing ample space beneath the faucet for washing hands or filling containers.Installation was relatively straightforward, although it’s important to note that the valve is required but not included, so make sure to get that separately. The adjustable widespread design allows for flexible installation, which was a big plus for fitting it onto our existing sink setup. The two-handle design offers precise control over water temperature and flow. Each handle moves smoothly, and the faucet itself feels solid and well-constructed. The build quality is impressive, with the materials and craftsmanship living up to Moen’s reputation for durability and reliability. One of the standout features for me is the water efficiency. The faucet is designed to deliver a good flow while conserving water, which is great for reducing utility bills and being environmentally friendly. Despite the lower flow rate, the water pressure is more than adequate for all bathroom needs. In terms of maintenance, the brushed nickel finish is easy to clean and resists fingerprints and water spots, which helps keep the faucet looking new with minimal effort. This is a big plus, especially in a busy household where maintaining a pristine bathroom can be a challenge.Overall, I am very pleased with the Moen Gibson Bathroom Sink Faucet. It combines sleek, modern design with robust functionality and efficiency. While you do need to purchase the valve separately, the quality and performance of the faucet itself make it a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom fixtures with something stylish and reliable.

Easy install easy to clean
This was part of a bathroom upgrade. I was looking at many other home improvement product sites, but found the best price here. They work awesome! My husband installed in under an hour. They wipe clean. The black color does show spots, but it’s easy to see and wipe clean.

Installed today, pretty solid, couple small complaints
Liked the modern look of this faucet, ended up picking it over a similarly styled Delta faucet that was MUCH lower quality. Overall I really like this faucet... it has HEFT, which to me in a faucet or machined item is typically a sign of quality. It was much heavier than the Delta and just felt more substantial/quality.I didn't have the issues others had with install... aside from stupidly reversing the cold and hot valves it all went smoothly, and I was able to spot and fish the plunger without much issue. Given my under cabinet is open, though it is hard to get to the sink and spot the hole. Anyway, it was pretty easy to see with a headlamp on.That said, I did have a couple complaints.1) The BIGGEST issue I had is with the brace for the faucet's valve (note this is an issue with the valve package, NOT this faucet in particular). By brace I mean the bracket that goes underneath the counter and backs the bolt you screw up to hold the faucet in place. The brace comes in two parts... a 1" tall plastic base and a 1/8" thick metal plate that clips onto it. The instructions say to use just the plate if your counter is over 1/4", and the plate + base if your counter is under 1/4". The reason (I discovered) is that if you use the base with a thicker counter the holder ends up sitting in the way of the stems on the valves (making it difficult/impossible to hook up the water lines). The issue is that the instructions are wrong... my counter is exactly 1" thick, meaning I should just use the plate. However, when I did that I could not screw the bolt up high enough to secure the faucet. In short, there isn't enough thread on the faucet stem to run the bolt up high enough to firmly hold the faucet. I ended up with about 1/16"-1/8" of play. I was able to solve this by using my band saw to cut the plastic base down (60%), which gave me the perfect fit. Most people don't have band saws however, so this could be an issue.2) Securing the faucet head to the valve involves putting a very specific and long allen wrench with a pivot head down the backside of the faucet base. This in and of itself isn't hard. The issue is that many faucets have very little clearance behind them (wall, mirror, etc), and because you have to angle the allen wrench a little to get it in the wrench angles backward. If you do have narrow clearance on your faucet this can make securing it IMPOSSIBLE... the L end of the allen wrench ends up sticking out and getting blocked on the wall every time you come around. Again, I solved this by using my grinder to cut the allen wrench in half, which gave me just a "rod" that I could use in a tighter space. However, again, not everyone has a grinder on hand to cut a metal tool...3) The color... ugh. I like bushed metal, most of the brushed metal I buy is a pure or dark gray. However, this faucet has a DEFINITE hint of titanium or bronzish color. I have no idea why, but it's irritating... I really wish the faucet was just a typically brushed color (same as all other plumbing and accent materials). It's not horrible (I kept the faucet), just a pet peeve.4) The instructions could do with a little more wording... they aren't horrible, but you spend some time deciphering stuff that could easily be clarified with some text.

So much better than expected - trim only, must get the rough-in kit too
At this price point, I really did NOT expect this trim kit / faucet to be as nice as it was. The pieces are heavy and the levers move nicely and give the sense of really, solid construction. The design has a modern / industrial feel to me and the fit is widespread. I needed a faucet that I could add a pop-up tooYou will need this rough-in kit. Don't forget it. At this moment, the valves cost more than the trim. Both are very good quality. This is the kit: "Moen 9000 Widespread Lavatory Rough-In Valve with Drain Assembly Featuring M-PACT Technology" Also, my sink (as you can see in the pictures) had no room for the normal plunger, so I found a nice Delta pop-up with overflow. It works well. All were installed with a plumber and all are working well. We had developed leaks in our old faucet and the stopper never worked because their was no room. The faucet was a no-name brand that had a modern look ... but oh boy, the leaks started under the sink and at the faucet. We have very hard water and some corrosion happening in the plumbing. This was the fix and we are dealing with corrosion as well as we can.
