ErgoRest - 330-016-BK - ErgoRest Articulating Arm Support - Black - Long Arm, Long Pad

I work 10-12 hours a day at my desk running my own company and while I take breaks and stretch I started getting carpal tunnel and really bad arm and back muscle strain. I started acupuncture which really helped, but I needed something that would prevent the pain in the first place as it was kind of like a war between the acupuncture helping and then returning to the very thing that was causing all the pain. I invested in a foot rest, ergo key pad, trackball and all were great, but the wrist pain was still there. When I saw the Ergo Rest I thought it was odd looking but I asked my husband to hold up my elbow and I noticed immediate relief from the pressure on my arm, so I figured the Ergo Rest would do the same. They are rather expensive so I was reluctant to buy two right away so I just got one. I have only been using it for a day now, but it is AMAZING. It is nicer than I thought. The quality is clearly above average. The whole thing is black and it has a royal blue elbow pad. The arm swivels with such effortlessness that it feels like natural movement. It is very comfortable and I am wearing short sleeves so my skin is touching the pad and it feels soothing. My husband tired it too because I told him it was really remarkable that you instantly feel better in the position it allows your arm to be in. He responded by smiling and looking at me with the face of someone who was skeptical but then realizes it really does work. We both chuckled at how well this worked, moved and felt. I just ordered another one for my left arm and cannot wait for it to arrive. I can feel the strain in my left arm and never fully realized how much pressure I was putting on my wrist, arm and back by not having my arm elevated like this. Considering that I work so many long hours and that my livelihood depends on me to work at a computer, the price is well justified. I like the black arm and have a very traditional cherry stained desk that it really seems to blend in with so that was also nice as I did not want the white or grey arms that would stand out more. Overall, I highly recommend this product, and unless you see me follow up with something negative to day about this product, then you will know I still feel the same way about it.

Well I hit 30 y/o and as some people know that's when things start falling apart. I work at a desk with no real break for about 9 hours a day. My hip started giving me trouble, so I have exercises for that, but mostly I avoid it by standing for a good part of the day (I have a sit/stand desk) - I guess I'm not built to sit all day. Well, as soon as I started standing for a good chunk of the day, I notice my mousing shoulder started hurting and feeling pressure that was only lessened by popping it forward in a rolling motion. This is not good! So I found this product to help and it's made all the difference. Really long days at work (12-14 hours) still give me some stiffness, but no more pain, no more popping in my shoulder. Very well built item that is very sturdy but moves easily (I'm 6'3" so I'm not a light load on the device). Feels odd for the first day but after the first week, you barely know it's there...except that your pain is gone. Easy to move it to the other side of your desk if you are skillful enough to mouse on both sides (although maybe others will buy 2). Adjusts easily but locks into place without drift.I couldn't be happier with the armrest.

This product literally saved my career. I'm a Video editor and a few years ago I was on disability for more than a year because of severe tendinitis on both of my wrists and nothing helped, therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor, braces...I had tried everything and could never work on the computer for more than a few minutes without hurting.Then one day, one of the doctors at the hospital I was at let me try this device on his desk....and in a matter of seconds the pain in my forearm was diminished when typing on the keyboard.I would highly recommend these for anyone who ever had any wrist issues in the past and who uses the computer a lot. It will save you a lot of pain and suffering.

I ordered this product with some concerns. I didn't see how it could meet my needs, but I was desperate.I have a torn rotator cuff, I am in therapy but cannot have surgery till next May (after tax season). I am a tax accountant and working at my desk was very painful!How thankful I am that I ordered the EroRest. It attaches to the desk without harming the finish. I can position it so that I can reach my keyboard, my mouse, and my calculator. It takes so much pressure off my shoulder. My therapist had me take him info from the web site so he could show other patients.Great Product!

The support was long so it gave me more support.I have a problem pinching my shoulders up that causes other issues.With this my shoulders stay down.I can easily move to my keyboard and my mouse. Very smooth transition.I was surprised it was very light for the support it gave.I use it for work.

The Ergo Rest is an excellent accessory for your computer. Using it allows your hands to float effortlessly over the keyboard while relieving the stress in your wrist, arms and neck. It allows you to sit straighter and lean back to a more upright position. This is a definite improvement. I purchased one a number of years ago for my mouse hand and now have one for the other hand as well. They are very well made (in Finland I believe)and Amazon has an excellent price. Delivery was, as usual with Amazon, flawless. I would recommend this product to anyone who is at the keyboard for more than a few minutes at a time.

So glad I bought the Ergorest and not a knock off. Highly recommend this if you use an artist tablet in front of your keyboard like I do. Make sure to check out the review someone made on YouTube which compares it with a cheaper alternative. That helped me decide.
